Need help w/getting seed out of soil

Hey guys, I had to throw four Seeds out in the yard that were already in soil. I could only find the one with the long root coming out.

It had lost the shell off the top, and I gently put it back in soil.

When I put it back in soil I think I buried it too far, as this seed had germinated the best. I believe I put a little too much soil back on top of it.

It has since grown but didn't pop thru yet, so I scratched a little dirt off the top to see what yall think.
Does it look normal? It has a black spot on top with tiny white dots on it, is that normal? Thanks in advance!

This makes me want too call the seedling abuse hotline!

But seriously, if you have a desire to cultivate cannabis...you can do better. Take some time to read, research, learn, and GROW! There is tons of info on the web and folks here who can help you for future endeavors. But, consider this attempt as a learning experience.

Good Luck and Great Growing, Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I appreciate the feedback, but I need someone's input who knows what it looks like right before it pops thru the soil.
I'm on this forum to learn, and I'm obviously posting a thread in the newbie forum for a reason...I had a setback and just happened to have to toss the germinating seeds in the yard. Big fckng deal. Who can help me? I have provided a photo.

looks like you might have buried it a bit too deep, but that looks like the cotyledon leaves are just stuck together still and probably by the AM, it'll be sprouted so no worries. seeds can sometimes take four to seven days to sprout, btw. remember: don't over water at this stage. maybe a tablespoon of water in the morning and that's it for the first seven days. good luck on your grow.

I'm here to ask questions. I read, read and reread a lot of posts on here and other forums. I've gotten the most feedback on this one and i and have met cool cats here as well. That being said, I had an emergency situation that required me to throw the damn dirt and seeds in the grass. Yes, I could've read for 2 days and found the answer, or risk losing this bad ass northern light seed that has the potential to be the first Ever plant I grow on my own. Momma always told me a closed mouth don't get fed. I needed a quick answer!

Hostile? Nah. Just bein real, it's all I know.:peace::blsmoke:

I completely understand the excitement and hope that come from attempting to grow your own budz especially a first attempt. That said I would like to keep it real as well, this is not an attack or a criticism. I feel you would be better off getting a new seed and starting again. I think you are 'barking up the wrong plant' meaning it is doubtful that whatever that it is in your pic, is even a cannabis plant. But, if it is, she has been shocked so severely and at so early in her development, even if it were a bad ass northern lights seed...the plant would most likely not perform well. There is a slight (but unlikely) possibility that it could survive and be all you hoped it would be. Cannabis is very resilient so, I wish you the best of luck with this plant.

As an after thought, if your growing in a place where a situation can cause an emergency worthy of tossing seedlings into the yard. You may want to rethink growing there at all. Growing cannabis is AWESOME, going to jail is not. Check the laws in your state and good luck.

Happy Highlidays to you and yours.
