over the last week or so i noticed that some of my leaves on my mother in veg still. were getting small brownish red spots about the size of a pin head. i have been spraying for mites with azamax but this problem has grown worse and worse and now those same spots showed up on on of my girls in flower today. right now i have a plant thats about 7 weeks into veg as a mother and these spots have showed up i have ffof soil and use all ff neuts its under a 125wattt cfl i have been feedin according to the ff feeding schedule, so neuts every other watering. but these spots basically took over my mother plant and have showed up in a completely different room. there a dark red in color some almost like a rusty color. i cant find anything on this problem. does anyone know?

Pictures would help a lot man. What are the temperatures in your room? Humidity? Distance from lights to canopy?

lights are 6 in from the top in the veg and about 24 to 30 in the flower temps 74 in veg and 78 to 84 in flower. humidity in the flowere is between 45 and 55 percent and almost 60 in veg. i dont think that the thermostat i have in the veg is that accurate though i just got some pics up i had to charge my camera. it looks like tiny dead spots i have pics of both sides of leaves.

the spots engulfed the plant in veg practically in a few days. i only found these spots on 1 plant in the flower room on lower leaves only though i cut those leaves off as well as the ones on the mother.

Interesting. Sounds like Maganese deficiency. But that's caused by high magnesium in the plant. Is Azamax high in Mg?

Are you using the full FF line?

yes i believe so. i got the tri pack of solids and the grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom and the ffof soil i checked my ph on the mother and it was kinda low its at about 6 average but in some spots its lower and higher.???

leave the leafs on until the are more than 50% damaged get teh ff additives with teh micro nutes i think its grow big or something.

it doesnt say anything about what is in it besides azadirachtin it can be used up until harvest its supposed to be a good product for the plant and wont hurt it but it starves the pest and keeps them from spreading.

the mother is on grow big and open sesame starting today. i read about leaving leaves till 50 percent damage today but i already cut them off before i found that out. is it bugs or nuets?

to high or to low. question does soil ph drop after watered or rise?
Magnesium deficiency. I think. I'm no pro, so I'd ask around. But you can foliar feed with epsom salts to fix this, I believe.

Depends on the pH of your water. If you water pH is higher than your soil pH it would make it rise, if it were lower, it would make it go down.

that makes sense im gonna check all the ph's again, isnt ffof a fixed ph balance? i check my ph about every 2 weeks and its always been to par but now its a little low. who makes these epsom salts? or i guess better question is what is it?

But wouldn't heat burn start from the tips?

Another thing could be, and I'm not exactly sure about this one, but isn't Open Sesame a flowering nutrient? I thought, and I've never used FF's nute line, but I thought it was to enduce flowering. If so, I don't think it should be used on your mothers. I could be wrong though.

i dont spray with the lights on i learned that the hard way a while ago i dont think its heat stress or wind burn i only have a fan on them for a few hours each night and the cfl doesnt get hot so its always about 74 78 in the room. the open sesame is to help induce flowering but i just gave it its first feeding of that yesterday and this problem started before it was on the grow big and big bloom. im gonna try the epsom salts first. but i will probally be throwing my mother into bud next week after a few leaves return

on a seperate note i had 5 of 8 clones root:) im gonna try a different soils. roots organic its mad in oregon and supposedly plants grow about twice as fast as if they were in ffof... anyone tried it?
