Need Help! Possibly some info

I have a plant that came out of some good bud a while back. It was more than likely a sativa. It is 19 days old and about about 1 foot tall. It has 4 sets of leaves on it. The first set is the single one blade leaves. The second set is 3- blade leaves. The third is 5 blade sets and so is the fourth. I topped the plant on christmas eve so the 5th set of leaves hasn't quite kicked in. But i see leaves coming out of the nodes from the tip top where i topped it and has the two new cola stems coming. Leaves are also coming out between the lower set leaves in between the lower nodes. I just want to know if It is doing good so far. I have a 75 watt phillips plant light bulb. It actually does pretty good. The plant looks healthy to me but i want to hear other opinions.

I would man but right now my laptop is busted and im on an xbox 360 console on the internet. Lol I have a bunch on my phone from day 1. Im also wanting to know what the least amount of time a plant needs to veg. Like, would it be better for a short veg or long? Something i been trying to find out.

The least amount of time a plant needs to veg is zero. Some people run 12/12 from seeds. However the longer you veg usually the more you harvest. However if this is really an old school Sativa those were like 20 foot trees (which is why we really didn't plant those seeds we found in our brick weed from the 60/70 's. Instead we'd pitch the seeds in the Chief of Police's garden or the Mayors or the ... (you get the point).

One reason your plant could be so tall now is stretching from lack of light. 75 watts isn't really a whole lot for a plant. I'd try for at least 250 watts of Metal Halide (for veg), or HPS (for flower), if it were my grow.

But if all you have is 75 watt you'll get something from the harvest but not as much as more light would give you. So if you can get some more light on that plant. It will also slow down on the stretching and shorten the internodal spacing. Anyway guessing is about all I can do without pictures and more specific information.
