Hello everyone i am in the process of picking strains and need your help on this. Here is what the plan is 2 strains of indica, 2 strain of sativas , and 2 hybrids. I already have NYC diesel so thats one hybrids of the list.

So i need 5 more

for indica i was going to get Fucking incredible and purple wreck. im actually quiet sold on these two if u have experience with these please advise.

so i need suggestion on some crazy sativas and one more incredible hybrid. please exclude shity yielders. i know the quality will blow me away but i need good yields.

My system is NFT so the yields are nice if the strain plays ball.

im looking for pure sativa.

My suggestion would be Reeferman's

Willie Nelson

1st place 2005 High Times Cannabis Cup - Best Sativa

Indoor / outdoor

An F1 hybrid between Vietnamese Black and Highland Nepalese. Its Willie favourite smoke, he tried it once and bought the whole crop. What else do you need to know? How about a sweet and sour, lemon grassy flavour and a reasonable 10-14 week flowering time. Good mould resistance and a friendly, soaring high round out the package .

Indoor flowering 10-14 weeks
Outdoor flowering Late November
/ Variation: 3 / Od or Level: 3.5 / Mo ld Resistance: 4.5 / Yield: 4 / Ease of Growth: 4 / Feed Level: 4.5 / Stretch: 2.5-3x Sativa/Indica: 100/0

Arjan's Haze #3 is a hybrid but it gives a heavy sativa effect. The plant is a big yielder and stays really short for a sativa.

I believe he did say he wanted a pure sativa and not a cross that is predominantly sativa.

If he wanted something that was only mostly sativa I would likely have suggested Kali Mist or one of the Jack Herer’s that are predominantly sativa.

Im doing the same, so far i have AK48 , Jock Horror , C99 on order and need to pick 2~3 more strains.

I think im going to try one of the green house 5 pack feminized mix pack and see what i like. Great choices at Green House.

And possibly Northern Lights and MazarxAfgan since i have the seeds already.

Yeah I suggested the AH#3 because I too was searching for a pure indica, pure sativa strain and just seems hard to come by. My reasoning for the pure strain was to garuntee the sativa high. If that is his same reasoning there are plenty of hybrids that will do the trick reliably. *shrug*

yeah i was looking at pure haze and it seems like arjan is the man for pure sativa..... i have jack herer right now have about 6 of them and i might just keep them as one of my sativas the only thing is the yield sucks a bit. im going to keep jack for a while then replace those with super silver haze and chocolope figured greenhouse and dna genetics should be a nice addition.

arjan haze 3 vs super silver haze?

which pure indicas u guys like? im getting very close to ordering my seeds i hear good things from demp ring in holland. which seed suppliers do you guys like??

To someone like myself there are strains that; "will do the trick reliably. *shrug*" and then there are strains that will actually do the trick.

I cut my teeth on pure sativas back when that was all that could be found. To me if something has indica in it, it may be very enjoyable and give a good amount of a sativa high but that little bit of indica will still rear its ugly head and for my tastes, and I do mean only my tastes, that really takes away from things if I wanted a true sativa high.

There are some really great crosses that are predominantly sativa, some I like very much, but none will ever do the job when a pure sativa is called for.

Yeah this is true. I just harvested an "unknown" strain that is possibly a 70 sativa / 30 indica mix and you're right, that damn indica stone creeps up and it really ruins it for me. I enjoy smoking and staying up all friday night and I can never stay up past 1am due to the damn indica stone.

Possibly what I needed to have said is that since in most cases when some comparison or judgement is made in a way it will always lack much of a degree of credibility because there is no set standard comparative to go by.

There is no yardstick or scale to use where others can reference and see .. ahh .. it ranked here overall .. it fell into this range in this category etc.

It is all just opinion based on experience, a combination of experience and something they read or head they accepted because it seemed to fit with their personal experience but did not really notice until they read it and thought back or they just hear or read something that excited them to they want to get other people pumped up too and that will validate their choice.

What makes strain opinions even less credible is if they are based on a somewhat limited number of comparisons having been made. That is compounded if most or all strains were from a single breeder line.

Then if personal preferences are factored in then the sky is the limit as to what someone may rank highly for whatever reason or reasons.
