my seedbank doesnt carry vancouver seeds? which sucks because i was looking forward to some strains from them. but im in a cooler NE climate, and october is usually really rainy and muggy. bad for bud rot. i just placed an order for some BC Bud Depot "texeda timewarp" and TGA Subcool Seeds "jack the ripper". freebies were g13 seeds white lavender, cheese, and Dinafem blue hash.

i suggest you look into the texeda, and also check out grape god.
happy growing

I'm on the west coast, but approx the same latitude as you are. Out here if you want to grow a faster good producing strain it seems that all the 'big boys' go with blue dream. It is a fairly mold resistant hardy plant that doesn't mind the hot days. I have seen them over 10 ft. tall but with proper training they can be kept lower.
Bubba Kush is also a 'cash croppers' favorite, as it to is a faster flowering plant. Although I havent personally tryed either growing or smoking it.
I had very good success with Pure Power Plant by Nirvana. I grew it for several years befor I got tired of it. Should have kept the strain going in retrospect as it out produced many of the ones I replaced it with. Easy to grow and maintain.
Several other of the Kushes seem to do well. OG Kush is always a favorite and in my experience growing it I did quite well. I harvested in mid to late Oct. Over a lb and a half per plant easy. ( Planted in the ground )
If your tastes lean more toward a Sativa than C99 is a hard one to beat. 54 day flowering time and a very nice daytime smoke.
Blueberry is also a local favorite, although I haven't had any experience with it so I can't attest to how it grows.

Ones that I am looking at for next year.
Critical by Royal Queen - very short flowering time
Tahoe Bubba Kush - A local favorite
Chemdog 91 - Cali Connection
Blueberry - Not sure of the breeder

I'm also only interested in quick finishers, as the weather can turn nasty in Nov where I am. I lost several plants this year because I didn't do my homework on how quicky they finish out and paid for my lazyness in moldy bud and rain wipped plants. :(

Hope this helps

Another one that I am checking out, as it is a faster finishing strain is the Blue Widow by sea of seeds. I grew a couple of white widows a few years back and they did fine, and blueberry is a favorite of many growers around here. So I think the hybrid should do fine. They claim a 55 day finish, but you know how that goes ;)

Why bother asking if you do not care what is said long term? Not being rude but if you are asking outdoor boys what is best and thinking blue widow for up north not wise man. Blue genetics and white genetics are not the hardiest for outdoor. You see them down south or in a greenhouse usually.

I hear ya man, that is how you learn. Blue widow will do ya alright it is not the best for outdoor but I myself have grown strait WW up here in MI with good results. Did not mean to harp on ya but I have seen 100 threads where a guy gets 100 opinions and goes with something off the shelf in the end. Gets old so no disrespect on you. I think strait widow would be a better choice "for outdoor" - my opinion
