I'm going to agree with Ace Yonder on this one. There's a bunch of decent products out there to kill the bastards. Depending on what stage of growth you're on you can go with potassium soaps in early flower, pyrethrins in veg, and if your coming up on harvest you can just leave em. They won't mess with the buds, just the leaves. Sticky strips will also catch adults. It won't kill 'em all, but it wil f**k with their day

Looks to me like you got thrips buddy

I would have a good look because some of the pics do actually like a bug problems. Google thrips on cannabis and look at the leaf pics or insects the leafs do look like that.

I'm sorry I said calcium I'm not good with bugs and never had thrips but it does look that way, double check buddy just incase

Yeah when I looked at deff pics and wrong ph pics it looked similar but holy smokes this thrips thing looks identical. Im scared cuz I dont wanna lose this plant. Had to throw other one out cuz it was male already.

At 41 days? Don't panic man! Like I said, they don't get involved with the buds. Just the leaves. They probably won't be able to do much damage before you harvest. I'd go with the fly paper to get the adults. Should slow them down enough to get you through to harvest. If your growing a long-flowering strain then you have more than enough time to hit them with a spray.

Also, "safer" is a great product for this situation. It breaks down in 10 days, so you'll have time to apply it a couple of times before you approach your harvest window. And again, don't panic! If I had to pick a pest to have, it'd be thrips. They don't mess with the buds, and they're fairly easy to eliminate.

Phew! That puts me at ease. So just hang some fly tape around and then do I spray the leaves or the base of the plant with the soap? And is this the right spray?

You can use that one, just dont spray when your lights are on... use it right before lights off is my opinion and make sure to get the underside as well as the tops of the leaves.

Another thing I have used in my tent is a strip..this one... http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shot-5580-Unscented-Repellent/dp/B0019BK8AG some will say dont use them, others will say its ok... its really your call, but I have had no issues using them and prefer to have them up to help ward off any issue before it becomes an issue if that makes sense.

Happy Growing..
