Need help fast with thrips close to harvest

I have a bad thrip outbreak, that I thought lady bugs would control but they are not. They are starting to kill my plant leaves. I am about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. Can I put one of the vapor wafers in and nuke them, like pro zap insect guard or the hot shot version. Would this be fine close to harvest if i wash my buds after harvest? I think the yellowing leaves is from the thrips killing them off.

I don’t want to risk contamination or poisoning from the vapor it lets off. Not sure what to do with 2-3 weeks left. They could possibly damage the plants.

I would not use Hot Shots in flower ever as nobody can tell you for sure what it can do to you. Too big of a health risk in my opinion as it's nasty stuff. It works great after a harvest to clean out a room or maybe in early veg, but I wouldn't want to use it in flower personally.

I can't believe people use that poison in their cannabis grows but they do.

Is there any safe organic stuff to use for thrips that won't ruin buds? I don't think citric acid works for them, does it? It's hell on mites I know that from personal experience but I've never had thrips except a few outdoors last year in veg and a three in one spray got them to move out.

I juat bought some captain jacks dead bug, it is supposed to be safe. Even in flower.

I will update you when they are ready, there is no way the front right one will go another 6 weeks. I am already getting amber trichomes. 100% cloudy about 2% amber now so there is no way its 6 more weeks. The back left is a photo so yes its not even in flower yet, I haven’t flipped it to 12/12.

Most of mine run 14-15 weeks but I run very indica dominant strains. The bug problem is also most likely slowing down the growth and progress of the plants. They're for sure a good ways away from being done as they have completely snow white pistils and haven't shown any kind of swelling in the calyxes yet. Don't worry about what the seed company said, they're trying to sell you a product. Look for the pistils to all turn brown and begin to recede into the calyxes. The buds should really swell and begin bending the branches down in the last two weeks as they pack on weight. Check back in three weeks with good pics and people can give you a better idea of how much time they still need but it's still a good ways out. Getting the bugs under control and keeping them as healthy as possible is the most important thing right now.

The front right one is the blurriest one. I was basing the timing off the other two but wouldn’t doubt if that one was close to that timeframe as well.

Judging readiness off of trichomes is a horrible way to tell if it’s ready.

Thanks, then that's what I'd use for sure. That was dynamite on my spider mites last summer. I just went too heavy on the dosage and browned some pistils. I'd use it again at a lesser ratio slightly though. Good stuff.

is it best to go off of when the plant starts to change colors? Senescence? Im still learning new stuff everyday.
