ive got a lady 50 days into flowering showing budding every day now. i got cloning solution and want to clone this one cus its headie. im doing this in soil. i have lots of questions. i need a walk through bc i have never created a clone. i figure i just need to clip a branch at a slant then soak it into the solution for a bit then stick it into some soil. do i put it into 12/12 or 18 hrs light? do i water it daily?

You dont need the clone juice! or the light cycles changed,

Cut branch 45º From bottom 6" (Most underdeveloped)
Shave a half inch

You could read my thread and get the cloner out of it or

Scoop up some dirt form a pot(i do it, works)
keep moist let them get shadeed light (I place on floor wherver temps are right)

Dont worry untill 24hrs latter thay make(even wilted or yellow its okay) it you did it, if dead. they are dead

You dont clone a flowering plant.. It stresses them out. Its too late, just let her finish and next grow take clones from a mother that is in constant veg

you can clone a flowering plant. might just take a little longer to root. Do you want to keep the plant in flower or put it into veg? If you want to veg it put it under 24 hours of light. And you still need rooting compound. I would clone into rockwool then transplant into soil.

Hey rd, whats up bud! :) Hope I didnt come across as saying you cant. Theres lots of pics showing people doing it successfully on this site it just seems like kind of a risky technique for not much reward. Cloning during flowering would make one tiny bud factory right while cloning a few weeks earlier gets a full plant. I just dont see the point.. This thread has some good info on the subject though in case you havent checked it out already bluesx: https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/107939-who-says-you-cant-clone.html

you can throw any plant back to veg by putting it into 18/6 or 24/0 light. I don't understand how you are saying it is "not much reward" If he wants to keep a strain he can cut a couple clones off a flowering plant, throw them back into veg and make them mothers. Then he can cut unlimited clones from these mothers and keep a strain he loves.... Reward?
