24/0 vs 18/6, which produces faster growth?
In my experience, 24/0 produces faster growth, but I prefer 18/6...the goal of an indoor garden is to simulate mother nature as closely as possible in a more controlled environment, and 24/0 just doesn't happen in nature...

hey SLB i got another question for ya.. i have a two foot-4 bulb T5 that's 120 volts(not sure the watts) and two 125 watt CFL's, a small clip fan and a dual air pump all connected to a single power strip which is plugged into the wall outlet. do you think all this is safe to be on one power strip and one wall outlet without a fire hazard?

most power strips have a built in circuit breaker that usually trips at 10 amps, if it is not tripping, your fine

okay so no matter how much i hook up the power strip breaker should kick before a fire would start right?? and also when i bought my hydro setup i bought botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow and Pure Blend Pro Bloom, the guy at the hydro shop showed me a feeding schedule in the back of his 2010 hydrofarm retail catalog and told me to follow it. now i know that if i follow the directions on the bottle i'll prob end up burning and killing my plants but i was just looking at the catalog and it very similarly to what the bottle says (7.5ml/gallon starting off) with the exception that the catalog only says to use one nutrient at a time(instead of both on each watering). so do you think it is safe for me to follow the feeding schedule in my catalog without burning or killing my plants?

I dont believe your supposed to use both bloom and grow at the same time unless you are in transition from vegg to flower. I would start off at half strength and work my way up. Its better to be safe than sorry. hope that helped

can veg chems go bad...?
my last 3 runs of clones, have no vertical growth, and start popin hairs within 10 days, im runnin 24hr light, and its the same set up ive used for a year with great sucsess.
the only thing that has changed is the veg a+b. its some a buddy gave me to try when i first stared over a year ago, and who knows how long he had it.
im thinkin maybe the chems are bad, shock the clones, and naturaly plants try to flower when shocked....?

PH is right at 7. Just measured it again.

It has spread since last night. Damn this is frustrating.!

This is what she looked like when I woke up this morning.
