Need help ASAP

I'm using a 2x2 tent with a 250 watt CFL, but that takes up so much room it's a tight squeeze for my carbon filter. Is it ok if it hangs vertical so it vents out of the top? My seed is germinating now so I need help asap.

Can you move your filter to the outside of your tent?

I don't think so, the crossbars on the inside are what I was going to use to hold it up.

uhhhmmmmmmmmmm where is your inline fan for that? please tell me you are not trying to blow the air through the carbon filter... air can only be sucked from a carbon filter.. its a filter. If you try blowing air through it you will just clog the filter in no time from the inside.

The filter works either way pulling air through it or pushing air through it, my inline fan sits in my exhaust port on top of my tent and sucks hot air out because heat rises.You can't smell anything in my garage exhausting this way( negative pressure).

Well right now I have it sitting in the corner with ducting up to the top vent, will that work? I can't really have anything outside of the tent because of lack of space

Yes that will work too but you said you needed room in your tent so just a suggestion. Good luck

I`ll 2nd that I`ve run a 12" filter the wrong way round with a 12" fan ran that for a year or 2 and it`s still pulling, better than most of the 4 to 6" filters they block up either way after 6 months to a year maybe a rhino will last a bit longer, normally go for an 8" to 12" and the longer the better
