Week 3/4 into flowering but still unsure how many bloom nutes to give, i've always kept it on the safe side because i thought i nute burned them during veg but it turned out to be something else, so i started to ramp the veg nutes up and got great results, i just don't know how much bloom to give because i added the maximum it says on the bottle but it only reads out at 381 ppm, with my tap water at around the 220 mark. But when i'm reading the forums people seem to be ramping it up more than double what i'm giving. So should i add the recommendation or ramp it up a bit guys?? ........Thanks Pete :))

If you ramp it up only do it a little bit at a time. Give them a week to show you how they react. Just remember you can always add more but you can't take it away

Yh i'm thinking the same, but for example do you go over your recommended feed or do you stick to the schedule. I gave it maximum last time and i did not see any bad returns only more rapid bud growth! Just i heard its not a good idea to nute burn the plant during flowering, so would you suggest i ramp it up slightly above the maximum dosage?

I don't like bloom formulas. I like a balanced feed. 5-5-5 or something with even NPK. If one is a little off that's fine.

I would ease into it. 1/4 of what ever the bottle says. You can always add more. If you over do it the damage is done.

Keep is super simple. Less is more.

Personally I wouldn't but if you want to push it go for it your plants will let you know when they've had enough each strain is different

whats the medium

what nutes?
It is a Multi Compost mix, doesn't drain very well, quite heavy and i have already learn't that this is not the right stuff to grow in, just it was too late to change. Hasn't turned out too bad though in the last 5 weeks, had a lot of growth in late veg and doing ok in bud i think, just my ppm is only 371 im now waiting to water but im thinking it should be higher right?

On a side note, ppm was at over 1000 when i last checked run off then after i watered it with full maximum dosage after 5-6 days without full drying, it read at only 500, What does this tell me?

Its not pure compost or bad stuff. Straight compost makes a great base. Mine from my pile is normally quite fluffy.

I use a mix of compost, wormcastings and peat.

its hard to answer your questions

a few pictures would help tons

the waste sample tests could mean a couple things or nothing

when you water your plants, how much water/gallons are you adding, what size pots are they and how much water drains to waste from under the pot after each application
