i found these growing on grass near some trees, they only had a few white warts on them probably because we had heavy rain recently. The remaining warts got rinsed off when i was washing the dirt of them. Are there any look a likes what look like early Fly Agarics? any way i can tell for sure? something else were eating them, is that a good sign?toadstools_1_print-p228136665010824508vsu7_500.jpg the pic of 1 on the grass is a fly agaric is a pic i found on googleIMG_4536.JPG

There are some strains of amanita that will just flat out kill you.....There are people who enjoy them , But for every good report I have found IMO to be greater report's of illness....One of the active alkaloid's is MUSCARINE not to be mistaken with Mescaline ....It's just not something I wanna try, and would encourage serious research before I decided to eat them......I like Psilocin:-P

i did lots of research today like you said and i'm pretty confidant that these are in fact a different species of fly agaric, i look at every species of amantia and theres only one look a like of these and it doesn't kill u or cause organ failure it just makes you throw up but im pretty confidant its not a look a like. i think im gonna eat a small piece and see what happens

apparently u can smoke them and get a short duration high and think that would be a better way to test it to make sure rather then eating it but the thing is how much do you need to smoke to get high? lolz

A Muscaria is hit and miss at best. Chemical content seems to vary widely from one location to another and possibly from one mushroom to another. They are great for killing flies. As far as eating them goes I won't do it again. Didn't much like it and had a nasty metallic taste in my mouth hours afterwards.

Colors range from orange to bright red. They get very large. Smoking skins never did much good for me.

There are lots of bugs which have evolved to eat poisionous plants. Not a very good test there.
