hey guys.i had a post in the plant problem section but didnt get alot of help so i thought i would try here.my seedlings are about 2 weeks old(give or take a few days)and they are going to shit fast.i think it was the tap water that i used the first week of the system,i let the water sit out for a few days but that didnt help.i got some good purified water in there now so i hope that helps.im flooding 2 times a day and im feeding with 1 ml per gallon of humboldt's the oneness,1/4 ml per gallon of cal-mag,the ph is at 5.5-6.2.the temps in my tent is 82 at high, humidity is low at 30-40%.the light is a 400 watt hps that is 2 1/2-3 feet from the tops.can anyone help me please.im thinking a cal or mag def but im not sure

nute kill poss. too much heat n theyd bend up and cal fedup would make like spots on the outter edges of the leaves. idk about mag but those yellow leaves with red spots might be a sign for a more exp grower

i used this nute plan with the last grow and it was fine, but then again it was from clone and a diff strain, but from the pics and stuff ive read online it looks like one or all of 3 things, cal def,mag def,or phosfurous def,but i dont know

by the way,the seeds were stated in 4'' rw blocks and 3-t5 lights for the first 10 days then put in the 6'' containers with hydroton.the water level raises just below the rw blocks so im thinking that the plants arent getting fed anough due to roots not being long anough.im top feeding righ now every other day to make sure,i just started that last night

I think you may be underfeeding them, as looking at Humboldts website, I think you should be higher than 1ml/gallon of The Oneness.

If it was me, I would put them back under the T5's until they recover and feed them at least 3ml/gallon, as they easily look developed enough to take more nutes. Does the Oneness have all the micro nutes needed? If so you surely shouldn't need cal-mag this early?

Give them one good feed, then leave the RW cubes until they feel quite light before giving them another dose.

they are old anough to take more nutes but there still small and stunted so i dont want to throw to much nutes at them yet, maybe wiat till they get another node or two of new growth

i only have a ph pen,no ppm/tds pen right now but they say 1ml/gallon is for seedlings,3-5 for veg and 5-10 for flower, plus some additives like cal-mag and a flowering additive in the flower cycle, they recomend there nutes and additives but whatever.i use the oneness,cal-mag,cha ching, open sesame, beastie blooms, superthrive,ff big bloom,ph up/down

I still think you're underfeeding with the base nutes. You don't need loads of additives this early. A good quality base nute should easily supply enough to keep plants perfectly healthy.

You have to change something as the plants look ill. 1ml/gallon is 15 times less than the max they recommend in full bloom (15ml/gallon). that isn't enough for plants that size.

I actually had the same problem on my last grow which was also my first grow. I also started from seeds and made the mistake of soaking/germing and then watering the seedlings with my RO waste water  but they all popped with the help of a humidity dome and a seedmat. I lost a couple of plants as they started to look like yours. The solution? Some basic soil fertilizer. Try upping your nutes man. Saved my first grow despite it being a simple, basic soil fert. Best of luck to you.

taken from the website:

Full Bloom (Fruiting stage Week 4-8 ) 10-15ML/gallon

You need an EC/PPM meter big time. The readings from it will enable you to solve the problem quickly.

thats weird, the bottle says 5-10 for full flower and heres a link from there website with there feeding schedule wich is totally diffrent but they use additives and the ppm ratings are at the bottom if used with ro water,a ppm pen will help alot,i cant wait to get one http://www.humboldtnutrients.com/schedules/One-8.pdf

I think that you're so worried about over ferting the plants that you're not giving them enough. Those pics show deficiencies as there's no way you're over feeding. The logical answer is to try more base nutes and see what happens. My bet is that they will look alot better within a few days of upping the strength of the nutes.

after looking at there ppm readings for there nute doses im thinking alittle more base nutes might help, ill change the water out in a few days and adjust the nutes alittle higher, maybe up to 3ml/gallon
