Need harvest advice asap...

Week 7 of flower on some Sour D in Organic Roots soil....
I scoped my girls last night, and I noticed that many of the trichs are cloudy and a few are even starting to turn amber but the hairs are still all white, should I ignore the pistils and flush to prepare for harvest due to trich color?? or should I try to let go a bit longer?? I know the window for peak ripeness is only 5-8 days and I want this to be great...Any advice??...

1st, are you looking at bud or leaf when you inspect for trichs? Leaf trichs turn amber well before buds do. You want to inspect the bud matter. fdd has a post where you can post your pics and he will tell you if they are done. just make sure you +rep him after he responds. That is a pet peeve of his.

Right on for the replies....I was looking at a small cut of "sugar leaf" I took from 1 of the colas(It was sticking out of the cola). Hard to see while it's still on the plant so I usually cut a piece of sugar leaf and look...I saw a handful of clears, a good amount of milky's and 1 amber trich...I think I'll start flushing...BUT...

Should I cut a piece of the actual bud to analyze or try and view a cola's trichs while still on the plant? I was told before that the trichs/bud was the same maturity regardless of location on the plant...(just smaller new growth is underdeveloped)...but I've also been told to only watch the trichs on the main cola...I appreciate the help guys...I'm going to atleast start flushing...I appreciate the feedback...I'll see if I can photograph it today also!
