i got a bag of premade super soil
http://www.ideal420soil.com/

good shit .........just to hot for autos (some strains like it some hate it)

so going to make my own soil .........based of subcool's but tweaked for Autos
http://www.hightimes.com/read/subcools-super-soil-step-step
  • 8 large bags of a high-quality organic potting soil with coco fiber and mycorrhizae (i.e., your base soil)
  • 25 to 50 lbs of organic worm castings
  • 5 lbs steamed bone meal
  • 5 lbs Bloom bat guano
  • 5 lbs blood meal
  • 3 lbs rock phosphate
  • ¾ cup Epson salts
  • ½ cup sweet lime (dolomite)
  • ½ cup azomite (trace elements)
  • 2 tbsp powdered humic acid

not my work thank him not me ...........the end product we all make up that is my work plus who ever helps out

so here is were we start ...............feed back please
1 it looks to be N rich (3 strains showed toxic reactions while 3 strains adjust with time and blow up)
2 the P in it seems little high too ...........(got the leaf curl in a flowering one)
3 needs something retain the water little more

vermiculite will help hold water
you can cut back on the bone blood and bat guano and top dress it later after the plant has grown

i found Lucky Dog

honestly the worm castings are all i use in my coco blend
but after 3 weeks or so i start feeding
you could try making some with just worm castings then layering the pot so the top is bland and then when the roots have time to grow a bit then move into the stronger soil

the problem i had was i made like 40+ gal's of super soil and let it cook for like 3 months and the shit was so hot it burned up my tomatoes when i transplanted into it
so i cut it half and half with promix

the vermiculite is kinda the opposite of perlite
it holds water instead of helping drainage
and it would depend on the soil you have

well a buddy out in the woods his kid is gone for a month so he can openly do things and projects

so we are going to make up about 100 gallons and split between us........him for his garden and me for my autos
from my playing around with strains i have 1 that like the soil hot (bomb seeds) the growth on that super soil was nice it was when it flipped into flower is when i noticed the leaves curling in (smell is lacking too it should be stinky as hell but not getting it from that)

promix......thanks for the tip looking at the mixes now ........might skip the lucky dog and use this

the ending goal is to make the soil up set up a auto watering thing and locking the door so i only need to show up to the place once every 4 to 7 days ....

the watering is basically done testing it out now with La dive and a Ultra lemon haze (just matter of getting the right number of watering tubes to the size of the pot now

my state has 1 year 6 months to get legal or i am moving to where it is and opening a shop (shit is easy and fun )

lowes site says free shipping on qualifying orders of $49 or more
so why not just order the promix from lowes ?

EDIT says anything under 150 lbs so you may have to order one per order

and if any one asks your feeding the peat to your worm beds
or using it in your raised flower beds its the main ingredient of square foot gardening

i rather shave my nutz with a dull rusty razor then dip them in a lemon and salt bath then use miricle grow

not to be rude but that stuff is shit for weed it changes the taste of the smoke so much with the chemicals in it and there is no way of really to remove it all other then flushing the soil for 5 days under a stream of water so all those little beeds pop open

right now anything i make is gone ppl are all over it like fat lady on all u can eat fudge fountain .........my shit is the strongest in the area ( it took me 8 months to make sure i could claim that)

the soil has to be good the smoke can not have any funny taste
