I just got my tent... im happy, great price used.
anyways... I want to do 600w... which Is probably the best idea for a tent this size right?... 4 x 4 x 6.5
I want a digi ballast, air cooled hood and eventually a carbon scrubber.
I was looking around craigs and found 3 setups that caught my eye... should I go for one of them?... or is there something else you guys recommend?
I dont want to spend a CRAZY amount of money on the top of the line brand name equipment, as long as it works and does the job reliably and efficiently, I am a happy camper
option 1
new with tags but NO warranty
HTG digital greenhouse 600w with hortilux OR grobrite HPS bulb depending on stock, easy cool 8" reflector for $225 total.
option 2
same as above but the "EURO" reflector on HTG website... looks like a 6" one for $200
option 3 used
600w HID HUT digi ballast, hortilux HPS and non aircooled reflector for $150 *I would need to purchase a reflector that is aircooled*
Option 4 (what ever you guys recommend instead) *im slightly interested in the $350 lumatek bundle on ebay , 600w, bulb, air cooled reflector*

Im sorta confused on what my CFM requirements are.... some are saying exchange air every minute, while others are saying 5 times a minute... what is the verdict on this one?...
I would like to add that I might be some lengthy ducting from the tent to where I want to exhaust the air out to.. about 10feet worth I think.
so how much extra SQ/F does ducting add to the overall room?
and, does it matter on how much inches my fan is, and the recflectors inlet and outlets are?... will using duct reducers cause performance loss?...
I dont want my fan to be a jet engine at all... quieter the better... same with electricity
