need co2 advice

I want a Co2, how do you make one? or where do get some? and how Much is it? Probably making it is more economical.

I work with gasses, and you can buy co2 online (canisters, quick connecrs, regulatirs, etc..) but u r economically better off with baking soda and water, I think...somebody correct me if I am mistaken...good luck.

depends on room size etc etc.

area is about 4+4+6. using only a 150w hps lights for one plant. Nutriets are floranova grow, bloom, blend, liquid koolbloom, and plus. PPM between 970-990. plant is almost 2 week into grow stage. it's 6" high today and starting to grow more rapidly as the days go by. want to make sure it gets a balanced photosynthisys (did I spell that right) when I induce flowering.

This is my first real grow. the others were plain regular seeds that I got from my baggy on the streets so I can experiment with and learn. got tired of the bunk weed that was out their.

this will probably come up.. dial in every other enviromental factor first. i.e.. blabitty blahbah .. then make sure your room is sealed. then buy a co2 generator or tank. then purchase a co2/environmental controller. awhhat.

you will see lil if any benefit from co2 supplementation... You do not have enough environmental factors at or above optimum to use the extra co2 so the benefits are about nil.... cheaper and more productive would be to get a larger wattage light fixture, better temp/rh control and increased ventilation...accomplish these then co2 will show its usefulness

Thanks for the advise. I will go with it. Sounds like good advise. i will get better wattage when I can afford it. Want to get a 600 watt lights with a dimable ballast. want to switch to a drip and drain also. Seems more efficient. Because I am using a bubble with a reservoir to make it easier to change water, but anyways, it seems to get some stagnation on some parts where the water has no flow. in drip and drain the plant get water from the surface to the base of the plant and will totally drain for better circulation and more efficient for electricity because the pump is not on all the time. well you all know this. but If I am wrong please correct me.

I'm with Illumination on this. Thats why I asked how long you'd been at it. Get your basics down first, THEN start worrying about the advanced stuff. It's gonna be a real eye opening experience just getting your first few girls to the finish line.

Part of why I am so enthralled by this hobby/obsession ...lol... It reminds me of chess....no matter how much you know nor how good you grow one can always improve....
