How did you get burned on ebay?

I dont think youll have any problems with that seller, I think it would be a safe buy... I looked at his feedback and profile. Other people have bought HPS Ballast bulbs from him before and left great feedback... so they were obviously not caught (if thats what you were worried about...) ( I do a lot of buisness on ebay). Thats one hell of a deal on an HPS bulb and kit. I would buy it if I didnt already have lights...

dude never trust Ebay just go to your local garden centre they should be able to either give u a good deal on some hydroponics, or order you one in

if they ask what your using it for say your growing tomatoes or some shit lol

Peace Xx T2xX

and it is very easy to get burned on ebay.. but if u tell ebay they usualy get the cops involved but if your ordering shit like this you might have to explaine urself alot

PEACE

Ive been using ebay for 5 years, buying and selling... Never once had a problem. If ebay was such a bad place it would have been shut down years ago. How do you think they keep customers? By haveing asshole sellers who jip people? As far as safety goes, HPS lights are a common item sold online because their not just used for growing pot. Tons of people, mostly people associated with agriculture (wich happens to be more than half of the population), use them for all sorts of things. Oh and unless your a 14 year old kid or lookin like a sketchy crack head walking into a hydro store asking for an HPS light, yes they may ask a question or two, otherwise their gonna tell you to have a nice day and that'll be the end of it. But all in all i do agree, if there is a store CLOSE, it would be better and more convenient to just to go there.

Yeah, poor college kids like me too! I don't think I could find a light for close to that price ($28) anywhere else so it still won't be a disaster even if it doesn't work so I think I'm gonna go for it. Also I was having a hard time finding a HPS light/ballast that like plugged into the wall/outlet and the one shown in the picture is all wired up and everything I guess. . . Thanks for the advice, let you know how it works out!

Absolutely go for it. Security is not a concern. To even entertain the notion that anyone would care about a 100W is pure fantasy. How many 1000W are sold on eBay? 600W and 400W? A ton, so to imagine a 100W could raise a flag is devoid of reality. Buy it worry free.
