When I first started, we got kilo bricks out of Mexico all the time. The closer to the entry points, the more likely it is you will see kilos. I have never seen high quality hydro in kilos though. By the way, I get 3200/lb for what I grow. They sell it on the street here for $20/gram. Thats 9080/lb. Pretty good profit margin.

That is a good profit but you'd have to deal with a lot of people i.e take a lot of risk. Are they still jailing for selling small amounts in Texas?

In this state they would try to jail you for THINKING ABOUT selling. You are right about the risk factor. Thats why I only have dealings with 4 people. And 2 of them dont live anywhere near where I do. I would rather make less and keep a really low profile. I am a hermit and stay out here in the boonies. I only go to town for supplies.

I never even imagined having that type of problem. In my mind I thought Cali growers could just take their stuff to dispenseries or clinics and get rid of all they could grow. Of course, if you are going to have a problem, having too much smoke is a pretty good one to have.lol
Shit! Bring it to Texas!:arrow::weed:

seems the clubs are only hiring growers these days. it's all "in-house". they do take a little here and there but there is usually i line of 10 people trying to fill a need for 1 pound. most get turned away at the door. i don't even bother anymore. they can be very rude about it all.

yeh, dont work like that man,.. glad im not at the bottom no more..
its more like $300 an ounce for the street man, which if sold in $20/gram means 580, minus 300, leaves $280 prof..
the last time i was slanging bags i was getting 2 bags for $500, so thats $1160, so thats $660 prof.. BUT also means i had to bump 56 ppl for that dough.. AND in reality ur never just sellin gram bags, ur selling halfs, quarters,.. which cuts into ur margins even more..
LIfe of the street dealer, like i said, glad im not down there no more homies..

Like I said, I only mess with 4 people, and I let them have ounces for 200. That leaves them room to make money, and they stay cool, cause they dont want to fuck up a good thing. I would rather send it all out of town, but I dont mind takin care of my 2 local guys as long as they dont fuck up.

If California has too much and its too cheap.

If Colorado has too little and its too expensive.

...why doesnt a dispensary in Colorado buy from a grower in California instead? A state to state transaction where its lawful in both is lawful as well, isnt it?

You would still have the Feds to deal with.
Ok, I can see that. But if the feds say your operating within state lines........

Let me think about this as marijuana being a FIREARM instead. That's right, a BIG NASTY **GUN** oh no! I'll use two states, Florida and Nevada that are famous for allowing pistol sales without actually requiring any license or anything. You can buy the pistol and own it legally without a permit.

If you own it in Florida, your legal.

If you own it in Nevada, your legal.

If I own it in New York, your illegal because you have to register it there (and then the gun might not even be legal still!).

BUT, if I drive from Florida to Nevada, that's legal since the state I'm going to and from allow the firearm. I have to get it there somehow, right?

So if you use FedEx and ship a pound from CA to CO, I'd see that as legal too.

Am I off base or not thinking it through somewhere? Its nothing I'd want to do, wrong states for me to care about, but I dont think its illegal?

....or nobodys been caught doing that yet and it hasnt been tested in court as legal yet, that could be too. ;) Who knows!

I would love to see the look on the cops faces when this guy was spelling out his logic to them. It would be really great if he would use the gun running metaphor to strengthen his argument. That would win them over to his side for sure. Be sure to film it for the next Jackass movie.lol

I always wondered what if a person with an oregon card and another states card got together, and crossed the border legally a whole bunch of times with ea states limit, that might be a nice way to fill a void with the oversupply and low prices here.

Without breaking any laws, of course...
