Need advice on strains please help

i need to get a monster mother from seeding. i was told by the shop guy i need to grow 10 plus feminize seed and clone each 1 of them..put them through the whole grow cycle to see which had the best yield. the shop guy also said 2 out of 10 or 2 out of 20 is a monster yielder so hopefully i can get 1 or 2 monster mothers out of 15 or 20 seeds...but i haven't decided on which strain to use....

can some 1 PLEASE give me some advice on which strain is best to grow if u want a high yield but at the same time potency?
i can scaifice some quality for more yield but not too much....i'm gonna start very soon i just bought a grow tent and equipment. i'm gonna be using M-39 cuz that's the only clones i can get at the moment. when i finish setting up i will do a journal cuz i will need some help.

Veg room:
strain: 40xM39 clones
veg time: 2 weeks
3'Dx4Lx7H (grow tent)
lights: 5xT5
system: 1x ebb and flow talbe

flower room :
flowering time m39: 6weeks
4'Dx8'Wx7'H (grow tent)
light: 2x 600 Watt HPS
system:2x ebb and flow tables
method: SOG method



stains i heard of with high yield and potancy.....
northern lights
skunk
chonic
big bud ( not sure if its strong enough)
AK 47
White widow
looking for a strain with 1gm +/watt

i'm hoping to be able to produce 1lb per light.

please help

Hi, I'm a noob, too, and I did a fair amount of research based on the same criteria. I ended up going with Chronic, but I considered several of those others you mentioned.

I also got Recon from DNA Genetics.

The only one I've heard bad things about is Big Bud- in the Marijuana Strain Guide several growers said it was overrated.

My plants are not old enough to sex yet, but really healthy- I got 11 seeds from Serious and have 11 plants now. I got 6 seeds from DNA and have 5 plants.

Another one I considered was White Russian, Serious' WW x AK47.

Sorry I can't offer more experience, but since nobody else was stepping up...

thankz dude, it looks like i might be going with chronic but i also research a couple more strain i found one from Ceres Seed (http://www.ceresseeds.com/cannabisseeds.html) its call White Indica 45-55 days flowering and 1gm/watt. it won a award in 2004 but they dont have feminize seeds. i'm on the clock i need to get the clones veg and ready b4 my flowering cycle end which is 6 weeks... thats like the only good thing about m39. so having feminize plants saves me about 2-3 weeks.
