if you have never done hydro before the best thing you could do is find someones currently used system that would fit your building skills and budget and follow thier design. if youve never messed with hydro its just better to use a working design than try and come up with your own.

you can do that after you get your feet wet. look around the forumns ,plenty of good working systems ,one of them should fit your budget.

There are many different systems out there and all of them will work. The question is what will work for you? There are Hempy buckets, check into it. Very cheap and simple, I have a Bubbleicious in one right now. DWC and the DWC ponic options. I have some of those going now as well. After you look at the options you decide what is right for you.

Grab one of those plastic storage containers put 6 holes in it bam there is your reservoir get some net pots and some clay pellets for your medium. Grab a air pump from a pet store that they use in a fish tank and get some bubbles going in that water to get it oxygenated. Start your plants in rockwool then when they have roots coming out of the rockwool stick them in the net pots with clay pellets all around the rockwool and your done!! Just make sure you get airstones or that the waterpump is putting out enough bubbles so your roots can breath when there in the water that your res is filled up with. Then all you need is to buy your light and your ready to go. Without the light you can make that hydro setup for like 100 bucks or less
