squares dont know shit, but they know what it smells like....... fuckin eh, so tired of the little zealots getting their rocks off all over my freakin doormat just cause they think it's the neighborly thing to do to a gal who's a little bit off of what they consider The Jones' should be doing.

I would run tomatoes under some cheap lights. In the off chance that officers do come to check you out, they will just think that you're some kind of veggie nut (read up on tomatoes so that you can talk their ears off about them), and they will leave it at that. If they were tipped off to what you had going and it's all cleared out, they will watch you, follow you, until they find out what is really going down.

Tomatoes my friend, the best damn tomatoes those Popo's have ever seen. A few different types, for good measure, maybe even some cherry tomatoes.

Oh, and they're indoors because you're sick of the pests and critters getting at them. Be sure to offer some to the officers (when they're good and ready, of course).



What kind of ballasts were these? Would like to avoid those.


These are working good so far, have to buy the ferrite power cable separate. Lowest RFI, and I believe it's the only ballast that is FCC compliant.

I have a basement grow that I start about 3 weeks ago. This is my 4th grow.

I hooked up my 4 x 1000w MH last monday, three days ago after transplanting the seedlings into 7 gallon pots.

I have a total of 36 plants.

So today while I was at work, my wife calls and tells me that the local cable company has shown up because there is an issue with RF interference and the source is my house. It is causing service problems for about 400 people past my house.

Before I can get home, one of the guys opens my basement door ( yes, I normally have it locked but today of course I hadn't because I was planning on going down there at lunch to check on the plants... kicking myself)

So he sees the setup and at that point my wife tells him I will be home in a minute. Once I get there, I play it cool, ask em what's going on, they tell me and I proceed to tell them that I started growing tomatoes indoors, that I have a greenhouse at my other land, blah blah...

They seem to buy it, in fact they have stories of their own about gardening and one guy even tells me he's done hydroponics in the past... Turns out my ballasts are causing enough interference to mess up the signal and for now I have to keep my internet and tv unhooked if I want my lights on.

The big question... do I close up shop, waste all my time and money from my effort so far, or take the risk of them knowing it was not tomatoes and turn me it. Any experiences similar?

I feel like the wise thing is to clear out everything asap... but it's killing me to even consider it.

Jesus christ dude NEVER leave your grow unlocked! That being said i think the big question is are u legal or not? If not..tear that shit down with haste! Even if u are legal...can u trust the cable guys not to be rippers? Pretty iffy
