What all do i need to grow weed. What i have so far is...

Lights (Not sure on how many Watts)

how many watts and i looking at for 1 plant?
Will this work for germanating the seed i cut a peace of a sponge off i took a little bowl put a little water so that about half of the sponge is in the water and the other half isnt then i put the seeds on the top of the sponge
How long will it take for buds to start growing?
