Need a recommendation on growing techniques

So I have an area in my room, like a tiny wardrobe almost, maybe a meter by 3/4 meter, but its really tall so height isnt a problem. I've been lurking for a while and have read up on topping, sog, scrog and all of that, but im just wondering what kinda stress techniques or anything else helps with keeping the leaves small, or the growth being focused on height. if it helps ill be growing white widow and some blue cheese also, envirolites: recommended for a small op like this?

You have mentioned both of them. Sog and scrog. Theres no way to keep the leaves on the plants from getting big or growing. In that space I would say if you didnt want to use the sog or scrog I would only use 2 plants and start flowing them @ about a foot tall. Try and tie branches down to help the light penetrate lower branches and adjust leaves accordingly. You would end up with more bud in the least amount of time with the sog method. Im growing in a small cabinet myself where height isnt really an issue but space is. Working on a sog now (staggered). Click on my sig below to see my setup.

hmm ok well thanks. i did think sog looked good but idk, it means buying 3+ lamps just to keep up with cycles. but one important question, is it possible to do SoG from seed? and how would i do it if it is?

sog/scrog are for utilizing horizontal space with limited vertical space....

it seems like you have limited horizontal space, with excess vertical? just a regular grow would work fine? no need to keep them short... i would use full spectrum lighting for VEG, this way they will stay compact the way they are meant to.

yeah i know thats why i was asking about shortening the width a little. so is a normal grow my only option then? will there be major impacts if i dont have enough space for all their leaves? and would lst be recommended? thanks
