I decided to "try" it. so I cut off 1 lower branch.

the question is.. whats the fastest way to dry it.. I need to dry it within a hour or so =)

not if you want tasty, good-smoking bud. if you have a dehydrator, i would crank it up and give it a couple hours. anything you can do within an hour is not going to do good things to your smoke.

hm I just wanna try it.. its not much.. just a tiny branch with little undeveloped flowers.. =)

I dont care about the taste atm. I will dry and cure my other flowers properly.

can I just smoke it if its half-dried? is this REALLY big difference if I smoke quickly dried or properly dried marijuana.?

quality of smoke is the biggest thing. i would probably half-dry it and smoke it rather than fully dry it in an hour.

You realize drying and curing your weed is just as important as how you grow it. A fast dry or shitty cure will turn medical grade weed into hay. Don't waste your shit, just wait a bit longer.

microwave man. that's what they're meant to do - dehydrate. will it taste great, nope. but it also doesn't destroy thc - atleast not significantly. how do i know? the 30 sec cracker never fails. saltine + peanut butter + small amount of bud. believe me, it works.

am i saying that it is preferable to do this rather than cure/dry - definitely not. but it works. just don't over cook it; try it in intervals of 30 sec; giving it a careful check in between. hope this answers your question

There is only one true way to dry out your bud in one HOUR. Throw it in the fireplace, with a hot fire in there, Walla. few minutes later it is all dry.

As for the MicroWave Idea.. (PUKE)

Do as the one guy said, go buy some. quick drying your buds is a waste of time. But then again some people like shitty buds.

It amazes me that people are so dead set on teaching someone a lesson they fail to even listen to the question.

The microwave is a GREAT way to dry weed you want to smoke RIGHT NOW. I have noticed ZERO difference in strength between microwaved freshly harvested weed and the same weed that's had a few days to dry. Though weed that's had a week to dry and a week to cure is MUCH better than the microwave stuff.

I'm sure it's too late for him but for the next guy that wants to know and doesn't want to listen to 40 people telling him how NOT to do it here's how to safely microwave dry your pot.

Note: Your weed will taste like shit and be pretty harsh but none of that matters if you smoke from a vaporizer like I do.

Get a plastic sandwich container like one of these, I use the Glad ones:

1) Take two paper towels and fold them in half, then fold them in half again. Put that in the bottom of the sandwich container.

2) Put your pot on top of those paper towels.

3) Take another paper towel and moisten it with tap water. Wring it out thoroughly; it should be moist but not dripping wet. Put that on top of the container.

4) Put the cover on the sandwich container but leave one corner loose, don't snap down the cover over that one corner.

5) Put in microwave and cook for 30 seconds on power level 40%. YOU MUST SWITCH POWER LEVEL! You can experiment with the power level but I found 30% wasn't enough and 50% was too much with my microwave.

6) Take out, open top, blow out steam gently. You now want to remove the folded over paper towel with your pot on it an put in on the counter. Wipe the inside and the top of the sandwich container with the paper towel you used to cover the top.

7) If it's not dry put the folded over paper towels with the pot on them back in the container and repeat until dry. I usually cook mine about 2.5-3.5 mins for 8-10g wet which comes out to about 2-3g dry. I also cook mine for 60 seconds the first two times since I've learned my microwave's strength.

Hopefully that was an actually useful answer.
