I have a new problem now. the grow tent I got was mislabeled it should have been 6x6x7ft but it is 4x4x6.5. This is a problem because I plan on growing six plants (white rhino or blueberry) under a 1000w hps/mh as large as possible (about two+ months veg time) the reason for this is Im trying to achieve 4-6oz per plant and I will be topping. anyways I figured I needed at least a space 6x4x7 to accomplish this kind of yield. will the tent I have 4x4x6.5 be enough room for these six plants to accomplish my goals or should I return the tent and build my own. I was trying to stay away from a home made box cause it is going in my living room and it will look like crap. I can't find any tents right now that size within my budget. what do you guys think?

I know you guys may think 4-6oz per plant may be too much to ask for but I have a buddy who consistantly pulls 3/4lb per plant of sweet tooth with two months veg time in 35gals pots (soil). He will not tell me how he does it but Im pretty sure he is topping them and I know hes using 1000w lights. Even though he is much more experienced than me I think I could get half his yield if using dwc, a 1000w light and two months veg time.

You'll need alot of space for plants with a 2 month veg period. Might have to ask Barnum and Bailey for a loaner. With Hydro anything is possible.

I'm usually at a loss to understand why anyone wants to use a grow tent to begin with.
I would rather not use one but Im in a pickle since my resources are limited and this thing must go in my living room. My bedroom is too small and my closet is too small and my budget wont allow me build a grow box that will look decent. and I will only be at this place for six months so it would be nice to be able to easily dissasemble whatever im using. But if you guys think I need the extra 8sq ft of space to accomplish my yield goals I will just build the box myself and return the tent.

So do you expect to have people you don't want to know what's in the box be in the living room and not ask? They are going to see it, hear it, possibly smell it, and surely ask about it. What are you going to say?
Yes that might be a problem but I plan on telling them Im breeding pythons and they cannot be disturbed (stupid I know but Its all I can think of) but I am a mmj patient and caregiver so this whole thing is going to be within the legal limits but I still dont want many people to know what im doing but It needs to get done. I tried a few guerilla grows a while back and the animals destroyed them so Im determined to make it work this time.
