I've been wanting to do a strip build! If you had your choice of in stock options, would you go with the F series over the Bridgelux?

Vert! What's good bro? Yup those pucks as well as theQB96 are on the list too. I just need a reason to buy 1 or 2. Actually, I want to do a strip build just because I like diy'ing, but I aslo want to try out either the pucks or the 96's to later add to one of my flower tents builds. Damn decisions decisions. Thank you for the links!

to add: This is a very nice light for the price point.Easy quick build. I used GG's and Growmaus video as my guide for my first ever and following cob strip builds. Haven't been on youtube in a while.
I see why he is sold out atm. Gonna have to wait until he restocks . This will be my next build. I may replace the qb's I recently out in mput inwith two of these and use 1 of the 120 rigs in the lil 20"x36"x62" tent.
OR..... Just buy a 2x4 tent, build one of these for it and leave the lil tent as a propigation and cloning tent. Do you know how long GG has had these strips out?

I was thinking of Halving the build as GG suggested in the video. But I want to build that exact light. So, I'm gonna just buy another tent , a 2x4 ter this time.

I don't know why my message is cut in half. I was editing it to add somethings, hit save change, and that^ is what's left. lol

GG sold 1000 strips in 2 days but he ordered another 5000 strips which should be in stock in a week or 2

In my new small tent I have some old blurples put in for my clone bucket and the seedling tray that's in there. Gotta few beans I want to pop now.
Just trying to figure out the logistics of integrating and changing my current veg tent over to a flower tent,while still feeding the main flower tent, whilst getting a new veg tent up and going.
I'm thinking, once the current veg tent fills up my flower tent to it's full capacity, I want to flip the veg tent and whatever is in there at the time while having the new new 2x4' vegging along. I will be running my main tent perpetual. My old veg/new flower tent will most likely be monocropped(pheno hunting,clones runs etc.)

At least in my mind that's how it's going. Putting it into practice is another.
One flower tent flowering out the strains I like or have been running.
One flower tent flowering out new beans,1st run clones from and 12/12 from seed.
1 veg tent to feed the Main flower tent.
1 itty bitty tent (veg) for cloning and bean propigation.

Well got damn!!! Leave it up to GG to come up with the hottest new tech. I'm mean that in the most complimentary way possible. I'll admit, I'm out of the loop as far as new tech goes. I built my cob rigs and got lazy. They've done and continue to do their job.
I just like building shit tho. I'm a diy junkie. It appears he doesn't do pre orders.

How many for a 4x4 at 100w each? Does Growmau5 still have a YouTube channel?

Not too sure about the pucks or how many, as I haven't researched them at all. I skipped right to QB's for my sexond build. Or_Gro has a thread on the QB96 Elites from hlg. Some good mapping work there.
I know you tube canceled a lot of canna related videos,not sure if growmau got an the ax. I know his build videos were up last time i checked.
There are a few people here using the Growmau pucks. 50 w a puck. 16 sq ft in a 4 x4. Depends on how many w per sq ft you wanted to run.
Vert suggested 2 for a 2x4 space. Hope I'm not wrong in saying 4-6 for a 4x4?

That's what I'm thinking... Im liking the strips also... I just have no idea how to put all that stuff together though...

Definitely has more red, than PLC's. Which leads me to back to Hump's statement about the "sweet spot" for reds.
I had an off the shelf led(advanced xml 350) Had some ir,far reds, monos and cree 10w xpge(i think) in it.
Grew some dank with it, anecdotal but it did better than the HPS I was running of nearly the same wattage. Bud quality and yeild wise. same strain.
