Hey Vert, cob setup is 12 cobs 4 to a bar/rail. No flaws in the setup that are noticeable to me 48" rails cobs 12" apart center to center.Rails 14" apart from each other & 5" off the walls( this changes with the plants positioning and such)
As far as setting them up the same, I was thinking about the four Qb per rail like the cobs, but was wondering if that set-up would be optimal in this application.

Like this eh? I was concerned about spread and coverage. Didn't know how this would translate in the tent. This would take me down to two fixtures tho. And I could mount the drivers onto the fixtures.Thank you for chiming back in.

image.jpeg Here's a shot of the cob tent. It's an older shot, just the first one I ran across in my pic album. I had the lenses on the one bar at the time due to smaller plants being brought into flower. I no longer use them, smaller plant or not.

Dank plants

Plants always find the sweet spot so if ur going sog then spread the boards but if ur growing plants in a tomatoe cage then make 2 grow bar lights like in the link below

It'll be either cages or a scrog, thinking of scrogging the whole tent while the cob tent continues to run perpetual. Ummm I feel kinda silly asking this but....how do ya release the wire from the Qb connector? Push tab in or pull it up? They seem delicate so I don't want to break 'em.

The light that you linked looks veeddy nice. I like all the gadgets attached to the panel. I like the look of the light also. Would the boards be placed end to end close together to mimic the lights linked?

Wish I had of saw theses before I got my angle aluminum. Would make for some pretty sleek lights...https://www.amazon.com/MakerBeam-XL-anodized-1000x15x15mm-103217/dp/B06XJ42W51/#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1520758888604

yea bro >>> push & pull but dont use a screw driver to push cuz the metal may break the plastic wire connector with to much force.
start pulling the wire 1st then press softly on the wire connector using a plastic paint scraper to release the wire

Of all of your designs, this is the one I'd use. Should give you a decent uniformity across the space.

Hello @GBAUTO. Thank you for stopping by and having a look. H design with the 6" gap in the center rail eh?
I've built one rail already. 4 board rail. Was in the middle of building the second, and broke one of the top of the push-in connectors on the board....smh wire is stuck.
I was going to go the quick route with the two rail rigs just to get them up in the tent and lit up. Just to see how it looks up and running and what type of spread I'm dealing with.
I have decided to use the H design for the permanent design. Thanks for the suggestion!

lol,, yea they break super easy & try pushing on connector then give the wire abit of shake & a firm pull might work

It was one of the last two that needed to be disconnected. I was using some pretty stiff 18g wire to depress the lil plastic thingy.
I was on one knee using the kitchen counter top, disassembling the qb's from the driver. I tested them as well as the driver when I got them. My lil one blindsided me running into me to get a hug! Snap! off popped the lil depressor. lol. She's not yet two, what can ya do? Just hugged the hell outta her and sent her on her way.

I got the wire out. Thanks. my soldering skills are lol acceptable. I'm no master solderer but my skills suffice. Question, can or should I not use the board with the missing depressor?

How far apart would you space them?
I looked into spacing my 260 W away from each other but the heat sink would have to be cut in half or get a completely different heatsink I didn't want to do it so I just did it this way 30" x 30" frame 560 W total
