anyone have experience with these? any units to suggest that have a long and dependable service life? I'm looking for a co2 generator that can be hooked up to the house's natural gas line

I use one that's tapped in to natural gas line and it works quite well but keep in mind it does raise temps in the room, ive been running mine for 2 years no worries or problems so far.im using the c.a.p gen-1e

The unit is question should last a very long time as it is a simple design and product in the end , I used to maintain greenhouse units similar to the Cap ones and they were 20 year old units back then and they are still burning now 20 years later .

On a regular basis it is wise to clean the units to avoid dust and possible fire hazzards along with an occasional cleaning of the orifices with a pipe cleaner . This was one of my my jobs as a Greenhouse manager .

I've been using the cap gen-1 as well trouble free on a sentinel chhc-1. Been thinking of a hydrogen water-cooled, will likely move in that direction. They do put off some heat and water vapor, but IMO beats bottled gas.

Just curious, what size is your room and how much of a temp increase?
