Hey guys so I have nats all over my roots and am having a ton of trouble getting them off and I think they have pretty much killed one of my plants already. What do you recommend? If h2o2 flush could someone please tell me how much 3% h2o2 should I put in a 6 gallon reservoir and for how long should I let the h2o2 flush go on before I change the water? Thanks alot guys any help would be appreciated especially if its given fast.

Thanks,
Taylor

Relax... keep plenty of sticky traps around, and get a hold of some ladybugs... that will be enough to resolve your problem without doing anything else really.

Should I put the lady bugs on the roots like the nats? they are hanging all over the roots that are just above the water.

noooooo.... i would consider that second link then... the lady bugs will only eat the gnats that come out above the roots.

Hey Slik, I just thought i would give you another option, I have used this stuff before,

FUNGAS GNAT OFF CONCENTRATE 250ML CONCENTRATE - eBay Other Hydroponics, Hydroponics, Gardening, Lawn Care, Home. (end time 22-Nov-08 23:10:50 AEDST)

It has bacterium in it that produces a toxin that prevents the larvae from feeding. Gnats have a 10-12 day life cycle so it wont kill adult gnats but if you can stop the cycle you can get on top of it.

Use a plant safe fly spray with pyrethrum content to kill adult flys and lots of sticky yellow traps aswell.

Gnats are fucking hard to get rid of and you will have to be vigilant or they will keep killing your plants.

Note: Do not use H2O2 with this product it is organic. If you normally run chemical nutes, then run a course of 2-3 days and go back to your normal nutes. If it doesnt work do repeat process again or go longer if you can...hope this helps and good luck.

gave it a twenty minute h2o2 flush and am using some stuff called gognats, seems to be working pretty good and I got some new healthy white roots shining through so hopefully it will continue.
