im at a loss for words on this one....i experienced this flow they talked about when i take lsd and spin poi. Freaking pure meditation. Its the most pure,enlightening thing ive ever experienced. One time i peaked and was spinning and i started crying because of the beauty that i felt. If you have a hard time meditating, i would sugest learning poi. Its the only thing i have found to clear my mind enough to be on that level.

I watched this the day it premiered.

just downloaded the episode, will watch and comment later.

I want to dose the guy with the cluster head aches. I wonder if the non-hallucinogenic lsd could be easily converted to regular lsd.

This is by far one of the greatest drug explorations documentaries I have watched. They really outdone themselves on this one

I watched it with a few people last night.. it was a good watch, although I feel they lacked in one area, therapeutic uses (and studies) of LSD... Dr. Stanislav Grof has conducted (and gathered) data from around 4,000 therapeutic (controlled) LSD trips and not once did I see him nor hear reference mentioned to him. I do not see how you can have a show about LSD and not include Stanislav Grof, that would be like not mentioning Albert Hofmann (in my eyes).

One thing I really liked is when Dr. David Nichols said "The Difference Between Medicine and Poison is in the Dose." That made me really happy to hear. It was nice to see Dr. John Halpern as well (albeit I would have liked to have heard more from him).

All in all, good watch.. I think it should be updated and include more information from MAPS (which I don't even know if they mentioned?).

I wish the cluster headache man would get over the illegality LSD. I understand him needing to keep a promise to his daughters, but he needs to realize that because a certain compound may be 'illegal' does not mean it can't help him. Legal and illegal are just enforced ideas by our controlling governments and has no effect whatsoever on the therapeutic use of any given drug, natural or man made. Some people are just too brainwashed I guess. This man could benefit from LSD use in more ways than just the alleviation of his headaches!

There are many legal tryptamines that could be utilized to alleviate his cluster headaches. I am sure he could purchase Psilacetin (4-AcO-DMT) and have great results while avoiding taking an illegal substance.

Would it be possible to get the same benefit out of psilocin basically, or would it need to be another lysergamide for alleviation of cluster headaches?

The dosage used is generally not enough to produce any effects, I would be fine with that. LSD is generally known for long period treatment of migraines with a single dose (some people go without them for ~4 months); Imagine going from having migraines daily to taking ONE dose of LSD and not having another one for the next third of a year.

Ya, I imagine that would cut into the BigPharma profits ..... quite a bit.
