Nation-Wide Legalization?

So through the clouds of Indica Smoke, I overheard something about 2 bills being passed today supporting legalization on a Federal Level, nation-wide. Has anyone else heard this? Could it really be true? Is our government ready to get their heads outta their asses and see the light?

Two bills were presented to Congress. Nothing has been voted on or passed.

Both submitted by democrats. I can't imagine they'll even get a hearing

Now is the time for true lovers of freedom and weed to write to your congressional representative and simply say "I vote and I pay attention to how you vote. I will not vote for a marijuana prohibitionist. I am counting on you to end the federal prohibition of marijuana."

Of course Uncle Sam will be wanting his share of the tax revenue generated in states that legalize. AK will be taxing $50 an ounce at the state level. Of course in Alaska one can avoid this by growing their own. Hope the Feds don't try to take that privilege away.

Congress can't take a shit without it taking a few years so imagine Federal Legalization ! And all the while, Nordic Countries enjoy a hassle-free life, cultivating their own, and medicating as needed. Southern US is about the worst fucking place to be for a toker.
