"Nano" Grow with CFL

hi this is a grow journal im going to start... im trying to grow in a nano box (its really really small)

its a 20"x20"x20" nightstand and its really really small but im doing it anyway

i germinated yesterday and they have cracked a little bit but im waiting it out another day to make sure they get a little more root

WILL POST PICS WHEN I HAVE TIME TOMORROW

Low stress training. It is more for making more space and keeping the plant shorter. Take like strings or wire and slowly bend them over time.

pbawesome is that all the lights for the whole grow you'd wanna double or triple that amount of cflsmore light more:leaf: ....im sub'd .....peace:bigjoint:

well i pretty much took the thin felt/mdf kinda thing on the drawer of the nightstand... drilled holes and mounted the vanity mirror light socket on so i dont think i can put 2 or even 3 in there but the light is blinding because i have 2 26wCFL (100W equivalent of incandescent) in there... and i germinated all my bagseed (beasties) and i got 2 that friggin shot out a root in 2 days and i was like WOAH 6 of them have not shown anything for 3 days and the last 1 has a cm of white coming out the seed so i planted 2 of them in plastic cups... im gonna keep them both even if the room doesnt support because one could be a male

and the seeds are coming out of the soil a tiny bit so ill save the pics till tomorrow and take pics with the box the room and the fake leaves on the plants

sorry for the long wait but i started and here are some pics

so the two plant pics are the same one... this pic is a day old

my lighting is 24/0 and the temp is 83 during noon when house heats and 80 all night round no ventilation in yet.. the stem may have snapped it has a bend and i had to support it up (support not in pics) how do i make the stem much much much thicker??? because its bending itself over a ton...

what can i do to improve

other than more lights and ventilation... im working on it...

just keep the plants as close as possible to the lights and you should be grand until you get more light and google can reflector or search on here.....peace

the top of the plant is an inch off the cfl and the can reflector i am working on... the only problem is im trying to get the can to fit to the ballast... the ballasts are sorta wide and i think im gonna wait i might put 2 more of the fixture you see so a total of 6 26w cfl then i will just bend a large sheet over... but then the temps might go really high

im just waiting until i rid the stupid swine to go buy a wholesaw that can cut a hole to fit the 80mm fan

i heard some people say they add like boron or nitrogen or something... how would that work.. im guessing you throw in a fertilizer that has those elements... if so what is it and is it too early to administer that stuff
