This is in dwc
the ph is in the range it should be
i added 1 cap of FFGB to it last night thinking it was a mg def
They look like rust spots in color

Did the leaves ever droop down and get all up your medium? Looks like what happens when my leaves touch wet soil.

im working on getting cal-mag+ ordered, hopefully thats the problem cause my last grow did the same thing with the rust spots all over it had awful stunted growth and the roots died back

doesnt look like rust fungus, i think you have a handle on your problem ;)

i got the cal-mag+ ordered so i will keep you all updated, roots are doing fine new growth/shoots are starting too

im using cfl light its not close enough to burn it and im not sure the temp

i wish i knew i had to mix it before i put a small bit in the res lol

What medium are you using? Looks like soil.

Mix calmag with water before adding to res? WTF?

it is mg soil i wasnt able to afford clay balls when i started

so i dont have to mix cal mag with anything? just put some into the res?

Just wondering why your using soil in a dwc system, they dont mix well. Usually those rust spots are salt build up in soil and need a flush with no nutes and water ph'd to 6.5 .

ive had great success in the past doing it and when it came to it i never had the funds to get the clay balls
