Mycomate Fast Fungi - Cake Won't Fruit:S

Hi there!
I bought a Mycomate Fast Fungi kit in order to try to grow some shrooms on my own, as I do with my weed.
I followed the instructions and everything went great until a few weeks ago my cat decided to play around with my subtrate bag that wasn't fully colonized. I taped the hole the bastard opened and it got fully colonized, with no signs of contam. The thing is that it's been one week and a half since it's been in the fruiting tray and nothing's happened. Is this normal? Is it better for them to be under indirect daylight or CFL's? If it is CFLs, how much power should I use and for how many hours? They were in my veg area, so it was 18/6. Read somewhere that they should get 12/12 so I moved them to another room, near a window where they get no direct sunlight.
How much longer should I wait?
I know shroomry.org would me the place to post this but I somehow feel better using RIU. Hope someone can help me.

Trabecula - patience, sometimes it takes a while for you to see pins but unless you didn't get dikaryotic mycelia you will get something growing. I am not familiar with your kit but I presume you use spores - get up around a dozen spores germinating and you are virtually guaranteed to get a match. On the matter of light, unless you are looking to manipulate fruiting, you need only a few milliseconds of light a day to help initiate pinning but 12/12 is just fine. I use 5 watt micro fluorescents and they work just fine. How long should you wait? as long as it takes, just keep them warm and damp and they will reward you when the time is right.

make sure rh is around at least 95% , lots of fae, and patience.

Today I looked that it and there was s shroom coming from the bottom! Probably didn't inspect it properly before as it was already 3cm long. As with weed, patience is the key! Thank you!

Wait tell you look at those little guys they most likely double in size. Thats one of the really badass things about shrooms when they are growing they are just amazing how fast the grow. I remember waking up blazing then checking on them to see how much the have grown from the night before then at night doing the same. Really just a amazing site.
