My worst fears may be coming true :(

Well, its been a solid 8 weeks veg and 1 week of 12/12 and I think it may be a 'he'. My dilemma is that I've only planted one plant for space reasons, so I really have no one to blame but myself, and I knew this was always a possibility. I'm hoping that my inexperience may prove me wrong, as this is my first grow. From what I've educated myself, the first signs of male pre-flowers are spikes at the bottom of the node. Anyone else that may know exactly please comment so I know to stop this grow. Here is the pic and what I suspect to be a 'spike'. :( IMAG0020.jpg

Since it's your only plant, I don't see why flowering her/him out another week or 2 would hurt anything. I mean, hell, what if it's just the beginning of calyx and the pistil's haven't opened? No use in throwing away a female because the plant wasn't fully sex'd. Ya know? You're already 9 weeks in. It looks like it could be the start of a pollen sack, but with out better pictures and a lack of maturity, it's all guess work man.

Yeh Tmac I'm gonna ride it out for a bit longer, no use culling it now seeing as it's the only one I have. It's a white widow by the way so I really do hope it's a girl :)
