My very small seedlings so far.

I'm growing 2 plants outdoors advanced auto skunk.
So I finished the paper towel germination period on the 23rd October. I also chucked a seed straight into soil no paper towel method on the 21st October.

Pic of the one that was in paper towel. Being grown in proper potting mix.

Does it look a little small for a 3 day old seedling?

Seed that was chucked straight into soil: being grown with dirt out of veggie garden.

(Round bit to the right is its first leaves)
I took the seed shell off as it was stuck in the dirt just before, stopping it from emerging out of the soil.

So what do you think of the process so far?

hey Betagreen, welcome to RIU! congratulations on your grow so far-they look like they're doing great. personally, the paper towel method just adds an extra step to the process that is unnecessary but it is always up to the individual grower. let us know how things grow! (:

Haha thanks. This is my first grow so I did the paper towel method as most guides said that. I also like it because you know your seed is up the right way with the root down. It also seems the seed in paper towel takes off quicker than the one in dirt even though the one in dirt is one day older.
