What do you guys think in terms of harvest time?
2 more days of 12/2 then 2 days of darkness..by monday you should have them hanging.

by then 2/3 of the hairs should be reddish brown, and you'll be good to go!

would I be outta line by asking for a reference shot? maybe a lighter or a beer can just to see size?

thanks man will do. i have the fan i took out of an old humidifier in there and it circulates air well, but i'm concerned about my temperature. with the light it falls around 72-74 degrees F, but i think i may have to try to heat things up a bit just to be on the safe side. what do you think? i've heard 85 was optimum.

(p.s. what do you guys in the UK use, Farenheit or Celcius, for i am merely a poor uneducated american on the east coast...)
hi ag - we work in both temps over here so either is fine. I would say those temperatures are fine, mine dropped as low as 55 and my plants were fine. I've kept mine at an optimum of about 75°

oh and would it be possible or wise to try budding at 12-14 inches, for you see space is a serious issue for me
mate - if space is an issue, then flower at 8 inches. I started mine at 12 and now they are ready to harvest they're twice that height!

also please keep us informed on what you do to cure it etc. thx
thanks dude! No that amazing really but pretty good considering it was with a single 200W envirolite!

Will keep you posted. Have no scales though or anything as it's for personal usage, but will take photos once harvested.

It's a shame actually cos some of the buds lower down didn't grow too much due to the light being at the top... top ones are good though :-)

Thanks for the advice! Will see what i can do. they're not massive but not bad considering a single 200W envirolite did the job.

What can i say to that? OK, that wins the compliment competition.

It seriously made me laugh a lot, yet that was indeed a beautiful thing to say. Cheers man. I'm hoping that keeping my journal going will inspire others to persevere and hopefully help others with similar issues.

I quick dried a small taster which was a bad idea but I have to tell you it kicked in like a bastard. Because of the quick dry method though it tasted quite bitter. I'm hoping that in a couple of weeks when it's cured properly it will taste fantastic.

Thanks again! Oh - a selection of pics enclosed!

pic 1 - a couple of buds off the smaller plant
pic 2 - shot looking down on a box i prepared for drying
pic 3 - i cut a 3rd off the tip of this bud to quick-dry and smoke!!!

excellent haverst Shiva. You and your wife are going 2 be coughing up a lovely storm ;-) i was just wondering
did you chop down the bottom of the root and harvest?

Or did you leave it for a second harvest?

Maybe your next try, I would start them in Peat Pots as these are good u can water much easier. Noticed your last ones were in bigger pots. So try that, but there is different wats for everybody now days all you can really do is just try it and you will learn as you go but dont spend to mush on seeds the now untill you have a few good grows under your belt, Good luck for the next attemt and just keep going.

hey guys... it's been a while but i'm germinating again... i'm still making my way through the last harvest every single night and it blows me away how good this shit is!

Water cure it... please... just try it... such a clean smoke and much quicker too.

may start a new journal for the next grow... jesus that shit was so good i'm just gonna do more of the same... if anything i am going to start budding earlier and try and prune them for maximum development of shaded buds
