I have started on 12/12 now. This is the weirdest looking plant the leafs are giant, wrinkly and lush. The new tops are pushing out and will be more visible soon. Once they get past the palm leafs. Seems like a happy plant. I hope that It will spread out a lot and that I am not switching it over to soon.

Sunday morning.
Got around to changing the water. Now at 650ppm.

Solid growth push's out through the canopy. Very sturdy branches.

Still turning off lights manually. I feel like a god.
This taken just before lights out.
Tops are coming up nicely and I am now thinking about building a screen.
I will find what I need at the Home De Pot.

The screen just sort of smashes the tops over. It does not seem like a good plant to train I should just tie the tops down with wire and get rid of the screen for now. There is to much plant mater.
That's the size of the leafs.

Are you sure that's a weed plant? :)

Yea, tie down... just pull each branch a bit lower every day so you don't break the branches.. Who knows, after a few days of training it might begin to work out for the scrog, if not, just stick with the LST.. Basically the same thing.. I know I'd be giving it a trim also.. That's just me... I'd get rid of a lot of the under growth and isolate the branches and pull them lower... Then let it veg for another week or so until the branches are long. You'll be amazed at how fast it all fills back in.

The undergrowth is the first 6-7 leafs like the one I pulled yesterday. I will give it another day and might just get rid of the first leafs in favor of the branches that are growing there own giant leafs. Giant Leafs =Giant Buds. At least that's what I'm hoping for. LOL My plan is to train it while it stretches as the stems are super thick even 1 inch down from the tops now. There is a tremendous amount of growth in the tops. Tons of plant matter pushing out. Really all I can do is watch like you.
Since this is My first photo period I'm just going to see what happens and also. Is this what all My Bubba Kush will look like when it grows? Maybe next time I will veg for another 2-4 weeks if the plant looks like this one.

I doubt you ever get another seed like this one :)

This is kind of the issue with the cost of fem seed and hobby growing.. We tend to grow out the plant no matter what. A lot of seeds are truly just messed up. That's nature.. But at 10-15$ per seed we just grow them out..

If we had inexpensive seed we would pop ten seeds then take the best one or two into the flower room..

So just showing My brother the plant on Christmas eve and I was just lightly tugging on one of the tops and it just popped in half like a celery stick clean through.. There is really not a lot of plant here so It's kind of a bummer to lose such a solid part of the plant. You are right it is really hard to keep your hands of when there is only one plant. Normally I will have a trial and error plant to work with and not care about hurting.. I don't think it has hurt the plant. perhaps I will get less bud? No flowers yet so still in veg.

Crap! Accidents do happen.. My friend has a sprout in a water farm.. So far hid CFL has fallen on the sprout and stayed there for hours and he also knocked the whole container over and smashed the sprout... Somehow it's still alive :)

Bro, if it were me I'd be popping a new seed now that you have the bugs worked out of the system..

Well it looks like this. There is really strong growth now. and she is drinking more than a half gal. a day.
Starting to look more normal if that is possible..

Well, that is why I chose to grow with the Scottyballs method. I have no idea what the PH is. The plant looks green and is starting to pre-flower there should be no Def. as the buffers will maintain the PH.
That being said, changed water last night now @ 900 ppm. The Res. only lasts about 5 days between changes (drinks 1/2 gal. per day) so there would probably be little or no change in PH. The PPM of the waste water was @ 300 PPM from 750 PPM start but, that is with about a 1/2 gal. missing before the change so it could be about 150-200PPM.
Sunny I did see that you were having some issue with your PH at lower PPM so I would think that when you change out and go higher with your PPM that will go away. Don't forget that drift in PH is good for your plant as it exposes the plant to different nuts.
I'll try to get some pictures tonight of My girl
On another note The Train Wreck is really nice smoke My sampling has become a Christmas obsession

There are some undecipherable parts on the stems but, not worried yet. The little white hairs in the tops are all I want
Hope you can see how large the stem is on the photos

them mutant fat leaves are from having your nutrient levels too high I have an old thread from my first waterfarm grow its called mk-ultra x bubblegum in a waterfarm my plant could be a twin sister to yours even worse it never got straitened out until I got a ppm. meter & discovered my ppm. was over 800

I went onto the Cropking web site and two others have had this phenom although Scotty calls for nuts. this high, they may be to high for the Bubba Kush. The plant is now stretching nicely. all except for the big top in the photo it still is stiff and will not bend. Like a mutant arm, with the same giant leafs. It's fun going to look at it every night.

Did a little crop maintenance just to clear out some of the sun leafs out of the middle and took out a few from under the her skirt.
Love the sweet smell and there is really no real bud sites yet. what's up with that? This thing has 8-9 more weeks left.
You can now see the anaconda like stems.
Just a perfect specimen for My collection
This plant seams to want to grow short and stout so I will now treat it like My auto's and I will be looking for 6-7 really nice tops. On a compact although larger than My auto's plant.
