My super soil is dry. How bad is this?

I live in the desert. I have plastic containers full of super soil sitting outdoors. When I use this stuff it will be about 8 months old, BUT it is dry a lot of the time.

Am I getting any benefit from super soil sitting there bone dry?

I probably need to work harder to keep it more moist. Today was the first rain in about a year.

not that bad dont think. just wet it, or before you use it drench it with some compost tea and youre golden

yup, a good compost tea and then keep wet for a week or 2 and it will spring back to life.

hope you have better watering practices when there are plants in the soil
