I started my strain from a seed (Jellibean crossed with supercheese auto). Their about 3 weeks old. the 1st week the light was on 24/7 and on the 2nd week and still is now 18/6. im using organic dirt and great ph water. i might be new to growing but I never seen baby plants pop out looking like this before.

CAM01183.jpg in this one, the top of the flower likes deformed but growing nicely
CAM01180.jpg CAM01184.jpg this one, look like 3 sides are growing and one not strong enough
they both, the big leaves, have like a twist on the ends

CAM01181.jpg here's all 4. now the one at the very top or top left is nice but short. i think thats more the jellibean instead of the supercheese

any ideas or suggestions.?

Yea, no matter what the seeds you get will have a chance at being a boy or a girl. Looks like you got some boys in the mix this time around!

Also, thats some cool looking growth :P I have heard that 'mutant' plants like that can pump out some of the best flowers around sometime. That could also be people rooting for the underdog lol, but everyone says!

Goodluck with your cross, hopefully you get some girls out of your crop and they give you some nice flowers.

now that i have a boy in the family, should i keep him and catch the pollen from him and pollenate some of the girls? that should/would make stronger potent seeds?

You used a regular jillybean for this cross and a male auto? If you want seeds keep the male if you just want bud get it out. What are your goals for the strain? Smell, high, yield or something like that?

i used a regular jillybean with a female auto! i would like a good potency of the strain and the smell, high, and all that good stuff!

another quick question, it might sound crazy but sometimes u ask if u dont know but um, how many days are in week one? i know there are different stages like flowering and veggie and they also have weeks 1-12 but i dont know the actually meaning of week 1 week 2 etc.

A regular male crossed to an auto femal and youve got autoflowering males in your f1 what light cyvle do you have them on? 12/12, 24/0, 18/6
If its anymore than 14 hours a day id say the jilly you used is carrying some auto genes with it and may make your work even easier, a week is 7 days autos have about 10 week like spans so about 70 days.
The only stupid question is the one you dont ask. :)

im putting all of this in my notes, so what is f1?

the 1st week they was on 24/0 after that they have been on 18/6! so i should change my lighting to 14/10 until what week if i have to change the timing on them?

since i have a male and he already have flowers with no pollen in them, what should i do? clip the sacs? let pollen show and catch it?

oh kay appreciate that!

another question, why do males grow faster than the ladies

F1=First filial generation, and that just means if you take 2 pure lines like mazar i sharfiff and highland thai cross them (by applying pollen of one strain to pistils of another) and all the seeds will grow into F1 progeny if you then breed a brother and sistet from the F1 seess the seeds they produce will be F2 and so on and so forth.

Males grow faster, generally speaking because they focus on shooting straight up (not as much lateral branching) so they can release pollen as far as possible and quickly before its too late and seeds dont have time to finish up(in nature) these traits have just carried over from back when cannabis grew wild im sure.

Put the male in a seperate area like oufside or in a box with a cfl his balls will probably open soon and seed every last plant you have.
Grow out your females till they have abouy 5-6 weeks to go then pollinate a few lower bud sites and finish your girls, dry them, smoke them and seee which you like best then pop a few seeds from each (progeny test) and see which plant produces the best offspring, keep track of pedigrees then when you find a keeper in your F2 do another full sib cross to a male with good structure and your on your way!

Lights should be 12/12 to get them to flower, the male may be full auto or partial idk can you put it back under 24/7 light? Flower your girls if you want seed to work your next generation

why put them in 12/12 when its only been about 4 weeks since they popped outta the dirt

Well it depends on your goals bur if you intend on breeding and creating an autoflowering strain i would say that male is an easy solution its already autoflowering so youll probably have 50% autos in the F2 but you need to use your seed producers and not worry so much aboit bud (you wont get much) but youll have more than enough F2 to start your journey towards making an autoflowering strain

I mean use your females that you have as seed producers its only 4 weeks they just got out of seedling stahe so its not like you put in a lot of time or anything

im not gonna lie, im trying to learn much as i can or get some type of direction and i will take it from there! so how do i get to F2? and what is F2? i went on the site breeders paradise and i couldnt find the beginners breeders.

F2 is what you get by crossing 2 F1's (which are a desult of a cross like [skunk1 x afghani ]) the second generation of inbreeding brother to sister
Just use your male to pollinate its flowering sisters and the resulting seed will be F2 seeds where you can begin to select stable phenotypes or make genes homozygous or whatever it is tou want to do.
