My secret grow room, any suggestions?

I have a 12x14x30 inch trunk that I am going to try to grow in. Im really just dabbling in growing and if I am able to yeild anything I am going to consider it a success. As you can see from the pictures below my setup is pretty budget. I was just wondering if anyone had any cheap suggestions for me? Right now I have a 28 watt compact flourescent bulb and have lined the trunk with white paper. I realize that it is very limited space but I am hoping to harvest one plant. I am germinating seeds right now and I hope to start with 3. I am obviously new at this so I am counting on losing a plant or 2 which will give more space to my one survivor to grow. I plan on punching holes in the back of the trunk and installing a small intake and output fan using old computer fans. Once again, I am new at this and any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

1) I'd get a screen in there for a scrog set up at the cfl's have very little light penetration and the scrog method can really maximize your area..

2) In that space cfl's are really your only option so I'd add 3 more of them in there the get as many lumens as possible..

It looks good overall but that tube may not be helping as much as you think. Look up some light basics - particularly the inverse squared rule because it pertains to the positioning of that light.

I see you have ventilation up top (?), how about down the bottom to cool the lights, circulate fresh air around the plants and allow them to build their stalks?

The tube is so big and my space is so small that thats really all i can do. Once they begin to grow more I will position it more vertically that way light gets to the bottom and top of the plant. I do have a fan on the bottom, you just cant really see it in that picture. The fan is a little smaller then the fan ontop. I am considering putting a bigger computer fan on bottom.
