My Sad, Sad Clones

This is my first attempt at cloning. I cut these yesterday morning and this is how they look this morning:

Notice that some of the leaves are completely wilted and laying flat. Do these have any chance of recovery? I'm using rapid rooters.

ummmmmmm did you tear off those leaves? or cut them?

when i clone i get about 90% success rate, i just use some cloning powder, and dirt. i cut the branch, i score the tip (put a but of lines in it with a razor), dip it in the powder, and toss in the soil. water a bunch without any nutes, or very very little bloom nutes. then wait. i hope that helps.

Lol, Nick, I cut them. I was quite careful. I cut the stems at a 45 degree angle, lightly scored them with a razor blade, dipped them in cloning gel. The only thing I'm not sure on is if I have to take cuttings with multiple nodes or can I just use one long stem and leaf? I also had some short stems (less < 1" on some). I'm thinking I was too afraid to hurt my ladies and took too short of a cut on most of these.

are those just leafs cause it sure looks like it if so thats not what u use to clone you want to use stem not leaf and you need to have atleast one node in ur medium

Yeah, they were just the leaf and the stem, no node additional nodes. I didn't just take the leaf, i picked up the stem leading to the leaf and I took these from the bottom of the plant.

first off , leave the guy alone .... he cant help it.

did you really just cut leaves ? i sure dont see any stem in there ? can we get a better pic ? if there is an actual clone in there , they look fine for one day in the dome. they will be fine.

a clone looks like a full mj plant , only smaller.

wyteboi, thanks for the pics. Very helpful. I did just take leaves and the stem leading up to the leaf. I'll let them have a few days just to see what happens. When they fail I'll take some new ones with better technique.

you can go ahead an throw those away ... if there is no plant on the leaf then its not gonna grow.

take some new ones... there aint a whole lot of technique to it .... just cut um an dip um. keep um in the dome an mist um once a day. after 3 or 4 days let a tiny bit of air in there for a couple hours a day , so they dont stress so much when took outta the dome.

keep the peat balls moist but not wet.... thats the key. it will only take you a couple trys to get it down.

These are from non-feminized seed plants in veg. I wanted to get two off of each plant in case one clone dies so that I don't lose the line if that's my "star." Switching to flower tonight.
