Updates:
White Widow, plant #7, following the watering yesterday with pure water, this plant seems to be hurting a bit. bottom leaves seem a little crisp, plant seems a little burned, and leaves are crispier, less green than others.
Look into giving ww#7 more nutes and more air next couple of days.
White widow Plant # 3, following the first full 12 hour dark cycle all plants are showing white pistil hairs. ww#3 is not. It is also the largest plant of all and has a lanky demeanor, common to males. Plant is most likely male or hermie. Plant has 5 days to show hairs or convincing female attributes or it will be cut. ww#3
The rest of the girls are doing great though.
NUtrients are foxfarm 3 part according to schedule found on FF website not the bottles.
10/22/08 First 12 hour dark and beginning of Flower period. 60 days ahead of me till harvest. Hopefully less.
Because my plan worked too well, placing a few of them under the 400 to make them bigger mom quickly. Well they got big all right. about 5 inches more than the others and i didnt want 8 foot moms. So the 4 I selected got put back in the mix and I chose 3 new moms. Being that I have 4 seeds left of all the strains anyway, Im taking only one mom of each with no fear of a lost strain this time.
temperatures are scarily low. Im exhausting outside and air intake is literally from a window into the garden the temps are amazing. Its 50 degrees outside and at night 40s. In dark cycle I turn off the air but I may have to get a heater as there is no closing of the intake so there is a heavy draft. I know Marijuanan prefers a drop in temp at night, but we may be talking going from 75 degrees with light to 40 degrees lights off. Well see how cold it gets soon. I may have to put a small heater in the room on a timer. But of course heaters usually have lights and leds and glow red so I cant put it right in room, must vent it in and now I have another damn variable.

yeah the ladies have a pretty loud environment, the video i think may have sound but i know there loud as hell and thankfully i live in a building not a house. Im also not surrounded by neighbors. only one to my right and one on top. many stories high but im basement. anyway the building being so big has thick walls and the sound because it is only fans and is only a whirring constant humm is nothing a smart neighbor would complain about. nobody wants to start trouble over the humm of fans im sure. i mean if i had kids or friends over, wed be 1000s times louder. but im just that weird kid that smokes a lot of pot and keeps to himself is what the building and neighbors must think. they definitely smell me smoking it if they pass my door. but again, i dont have people over since i started growing. no parties no friends over, nothing to look at here. they wont bother me.
got my order from attitude seed bank. i guess $190 well spent. I got a tshirt at least. And I only paid for the diesel and have 4 other strains free. 8 free seeds and 4 strains free. cant beat it. Even if nirvana is cheap and fast, free is above all. not sure who ill go to next, but if theres free involved you know where im going.

I wonder why they are giving away all that G13 labs shit . . . must be old stock. I like nirvana myself I ordered twice from attitude and the second order they sent the wrong strain. The seeds were poor quality too . . . I'm germinating some White Widow from Nirvana now its an old classic that never fails me . . . Nirvana will throw in free sometimes with larger orders . . .
yeah the first thing i thought of too was its all g13 stuff so either the company is going down, stopped supplying or something with inventory but no denying its a good deal. and i mean even if g13 sucks, its 3 strains and 8 seeds that i was not going to pay for. and no matter what i would have got the nyc diesel some day so lets just see how many germinate of the g13 labs stuff. and really praying these expensive nyc diesels are good too. im going to use them 3 at a time and work with clones. at 180 for 10 each seed is almost 20 dollars.
Nirvana i love too, two orders so far second one came within the week, but i never see any free seed deals. ill have to keep watch, no question if nirvana had a similar deal id go with them though.

Yeah nirvana used to be more bold years ago to they used to send their packages in original breeder packs. Now they are more stealth and mail out of a depot. I bet customs caught on to them, Always ships quick though and nirvana stealth is always funny. Those Dutch have a lot of gag gifts.

i doubt ill ever go to another company besides these two now. that would be dumb as both have prooved to be great so far. and the less companies that see my address the better. so next order is truly based on price. both shipped quick.

glad to hear, lol. thousands of dollars and years later is where I stand. definitely not my first attempt so im actually starting to feel this is going good myself. But with almost 2 months till harvest, im definitely not counting on anything other than at least one or two ounces of mids. If I get more cool, awesome, less and Im going to quit growing till I get a house, cause ill be too damned heartbroken.dam hell ya im jealous
I have some new pot porn. They grew a bit and I like to see and show how they looked without buds because theyre going to start filling in this week and ill never remember.
If theres any advice I can give, its got to be less water is better. In my first grow I would have given them a heavy watering today, and I also would have given all the pots the same amount. Bad idea. upon inspecting with the finger pop, and a quicklift, pretty much all but 2 are still moist it appears. the only thing is each plant is completely different for watering needs. but obviously the plant itself weighs less than or about a pound wet, but the pots have a weight. they all have about the same amount of soil, so I lift each, feeling how heavy they are. I know from day one how heavy they feel I packed the soil itself. so the best way, and i wish i really understood this on day one is to lift the pot.
if it feels light, and if you put your finger in and it feels like sand and dry, then and only then water. If you lift and you feel heavy weight or it feels heavier than a dry one you get the idea.
a good idea would be find the pot that feels the absolute lightest. making sure to finger it too, another good gauge. so you find the pot that weighs the least and give this plant water. obviously less water in general is better so dont go crazy, these days i pour right on the base of stem for about 5 seconds, then i spin the pot as i pour saturating the rest of the top and making sure that all the soil gets water, sides etc. slow pour because too fast and it creates a canal through soil and drips right out. pack the soil good from the beginning to help this, and slow pour so it actually wets the soil and doesnt go right through.
so you water the lightest pot and then use that one as a gauge. all the other pots should weigh the same and then you know they have as much water. pick one up and it already weighs the same as the lightest you watered, THEN YOU DONT ADD.
that was not explained to me, i figured it out. at first id just say oh two days passed , let me water, or id look at the soil tops and say boy they look dry, let me add water. that hurt plants pretty bad, but the quicklift and fingerpop are the way to go... bearo420
Oh yeah these first few are my 3 wives. the mothers of my next 24 children. and they be loving this t5 apparently. I was about to throw 4 42 watt cfls in the cabinet but everyday they look healthy and growing so hey t5 till i start seeing a deficiency but damn they look good under this 4 bulb set. and i have to add these plants are already a foot tall and im seeing growth on the bottom inch meaning that t5 is penetrating 12" down there, thats pretty sick.
