Today I clipped a couple buds, they were looking done but others not so much. I have a 1500w Quartz electric heater that I bought for 70 bux online. I put one of the nugs in front of the heater and hung up the other one. I plan on drying one in front of the heater for about 30 minutes and drying the other for about 5 days(not a big nug) and doing a little test. Is this a stupid idea? Btw im drying it at 70 degrees. Considering bumping it up

Edit: Might even just smoke the one in front of the heater now. Lol

Im not sure. Ill tell you guys when I figure it out. I dried one of the buds with the heater and smoked it, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I've smoked some different quick dried bud and id have to say this was alot better. Ill chop another bud in 5 days and dry it with the heater and do a comparison

From what I've read, THC let's out at 400

TEMPERATURE THC OIL BOILS

At what temperature does THC oil boil? What temperature should I set my vaporizer at?

Michael G.,
Internet

THC has a boiling point of 200°C (392°F). However before the THC boils, other parts of the oil evaporate and boil.

Here are some important temperatures: At 21°C (70°F) the most volatile terpenoids start to evaporate, lending a pungent odor to the air.

At 31°C (87°F) the less volatile terpenoids start to evaporate, lending the air even more pungent odors.

At 39°C (102°F ) vir tually all of the terpenoids undergo evaporation fairly rapidly.

At 50°C (122°F) THC-Acid decarboxylates as the water molecule held in the carbonate form evaporates. This activates the THC.

At 66°C (150°F) Cannabidiol (CBD) melts and starts to evaporate.

At 185°C (365°F) Cannibinol (CBN) boils.

At 200°C (392°F) THC boils. Clear vapor from a vaporizer.

My new favorite method after trying it with popcorn is just to put it on a paper towel and set in on the cable box or some warm appliance over night. The paper towel will absorb moisture and disperse it evenly. Throw them in a pill bottle or mini-jar for a little bit and they soften back up, lay them out to air dry for a bit and boom. Tasty little buds overnight!

I like this idea as well

Dry ice is a good way also as id does not use heat and extracts all the moisture in a day. I like your idea also. I sometimes use my tv receiver because the top is slightly warm but that takes a little longer.
