Hey my new seedlings 2 leaves and curling...what does that mean

I have to say 2 of the 3 seedlings are looking mighty sad....it might really be my fault.....I think I'm babying them too much....no more water and now I'm keeping the lights on 24 hrs until I start seeing some resultssss....I just never had so many problem before

Any reason why you chose blueberry headband as a mother plant?
Blueberry headband is really bad. One of the worst strains I have come across.
Not just from my grow, but my friends grows as well. We all got freebies from a recent promo, and not a single one came out worth taking up room in a grow box over.

Usually people who want to make seeds, will grow out several plants first and clone them to see which clone is the keeper.

Interesting you say that, I've heard nothing but good things about Blueberry Headband, and a quick RIU search turns up pages of more good reviews. What particularly did you dislike about it? I have a freebie from HSO I was gonna run after several recommendations, now you got me wonderin...

no he's right i heard also its a bitch on that free shit...from what i heard the fem seeds are crap...in this case thats the ones i got...and its a up hill battle since i got them...the reason is that its the closes thing ive found to blue dream without the mold and pest problems...hso version might be 20x better then shitty ass ets which form what im hearing and seeing are not worth it.... oh and ACE good luck with that freebie. if it was me i would grow it in a cup to not take up room...i think i want to try and get this strain from hso

Oops, my fault guys, I just looked it up and it is EMERALD TRIANGLE, which btw I have had nothing but bad luck with ET.

Yeah that's the thing I'm worried about....I didn't know hso has the same strain which they gay to ets.... I hear the reg is just fine but they are having the most problems from there fem who they have someone else do for them .....whatever....point is don't put your fucking name on it until it's done right.....looking for a damn buck

Yep one of the reasons I wont mess with TGA. If you call yourself a breeder, then stabilize your strains before slapping a name on it and selling it for top prices...

ive been breeding plants for years, takes time to get it right, and if u want the seeds to be uniform u need to back cross..if you use fem spray and pollenate the same plant its an S1 selfed plant and seeds will vary, they wont be identical to the mother,yes feminized but seeds will vary plant to plant. in order for seeds to be uniform u need a male and 3 generations of back crossinf of selected females..

im not too worried about that i just want to always have seeds on hand... im not really in a position to keep a mother right now but when i move again yes i i can do it...then me seeds will be there if i plan on switching up a bit....

When you're breeding, what's typically the number of your selection pools? How many traits to you attempt to lock down before you feel your strain is 'stable'?

as i breed at home i normally start with only a pack of ten seeds from a reputable company, out of the 10 i keep the best male and female..my selection is based on smell, nodes, structure,production and of cource potency of female..after my initial cross i normally plant 20-30 seeds and select the best female and back cross to the original male, plant 20- 30 seeds again select best female and back cross again to now its grandfather, then again best female w/ great grandfather. then ill plant about 10 seeds to see if thety are uniform, if not i plant another 20-30 and back cross best female again,,at this point they are stable or uniform.. then i can use feminizing spray to get s1's , or use a male or female from that strain to use to cross with other strains ive stabilized to create f1 hybrids.. every time i buy a pack of ten f1's i like to do this so in the future if i want to grow that strain again i have uniform plants that i know what they will look, smell, taste, and produce,,no guessing and i have 60-70 seeds rather than 10..its roughly 10 months of selecting and back crossing but i believe its worth it..however recently ive found that buying stabilized hybrids saves me alot of time like TH seeds and serious seeds bubble gum both already stabilised hybrids, mr.nice shit, and bcbd fire og bx3.. i took my fire og bx3 male and crossed it with a shit female and although its an f1 cross the seeds were uniform and everybody here wants what we call the fire shit..im creating s1's of it now. it has the structure,flowering time and production of the shit with the crystal production and smell of the fire og bx3...love this strain and i cant even cure it, when is dry people are waiting for it..

i wish i had the time for a set up like that and space,,,i dont really care if i get different phenos....i just want to get something close to what the strain is suppose to produce

Yeah it looks like the ETS version was an older unstabilized version, at least according to the HSO description. "The Blueberry Headband originally came from our F3 Emerald Headband male crossed with DJ Short’s original Blueberry. This was bred out for our original project with the Emerald Triangle Seed Company. After its release we continued to work on the genetics, increasing the yield, building more resistance and furthering the flavor profile. So I'm not sure what F generation the ETS version was, but the fact they brought it to F6 before releasing it themselves probably says something about the stability (or lack thereof) of the original incarnation of the strain that they had to hammer out.

That sucks! I think it's because it was a freebie special, I have 1 seed of the HSO BBHB and one seed of the HSO 707 Truthband, and they were both freebies from when I ordered at x-mas (One was part of the x-mas special one was a UFO freebie) and now they are the only 2 HSO strains that are sold out at attitude so I am assuming that's why.
