A little help or you in setting your light. Place your hand palm down at the same level as the top of your plants. If the heat is uncomfortable to the back of your hand it is too hot for your plants.

HI everyone

Just a quick update to show you how my plants have gotten on since I last posted pictures. They are doing really well now and just want to thank you all again.
One more thing tho, I have them under a 150w hps bulb at the moment and was wondering when I should change it over to the 250w? Please could somebody help me with this asap.

Thanks in advanceView attachment 2923582View attachment 2923583View attachment 2923585View attachment 2923582View attachment 2923583View attachment 2923585View attachment 2923582View attachment 2923583View attachment 2923585
The 150 is more than plenty for now, as long as you did the hand test (hand between light and plant to make sure it's not too hot). Now just take it easy for a while.
Not to be a dick, but here's something funny I saw one day that I thought funny, yet true.
A lot of beginners try to give the plants too much love.
Why don't you stop finger fucking your plants and just let them grow?

You shouldn't be using an HPS, you should be using a MH. Your girls are stretching and you may be over watering them. As far as the height of the light, as close as you can get them as long as the heat does not burn them.

Start a thread for your plants bro.
It will show respect, and you'll get plenty of responses..........
There are plenty of good folk here willing to help.
Give pics, and as much info as you can provide that might help us tell you how to improve your grow.

I already have thanks mr 666
I found it bro.
You're doing fine.
When you start your thread, you'll get a lot more responses/ help than if you ask a question in somebody else's thread and kinda disrespect them.
I subbed to your thread, and will try and help, but feel free to PM me, or follow some of my subb'ed threads and learn from those if you have questions.
Lots of good people on this forum, and from your attitude and behavior, I'm sure you'll make friends.

OK thank you.. What is the cheapest way to sort out my ph?
You really need to research this part on your own, not trying to be a dick, but so many different views on checking water before nutes added, checking water after nutes added, checking soil PH, checking runoff, etc., but myself, I PH my water before nutes, have found to keep that between 6.2 and 6.8, and it works for me, and I don't add lime or do anything extra, but I know of plenty of people that are a lot more particular about their PH ans soil prep, and they have awesome grows.

Hello again everyone. Just a quick update on how the plants are getting on.
I have posted a few pics and as you can see they are doing really well thanks to all the advice I have been given on here. There is one more question tho and that is after having a look at my pics how long before I should start to flower? It's really hard to find out what to do as there is so many split opinions on this.
Please could someone help me out with this as I don't want to do it to early.

Plants look good bro.
As far as vegging, if you don't have a lot of room, or are trying to get a harvest as soon as possible, run them 12/12 from sprout.
If you have plenty of room, have a lot of light or can add more as they mature (if using CFL's), then veg as long as you can, top, LST, or supercrop if you want, and any/ all of these things will greatly improve your yield.
The most I've ever vegged is 60 days, but I didn't notice a large difference from when I veg 30 or 45 days.
