My Plant Won't Bud?

I'm growing a bagseed indica. It was mids, nothing special, but it grew like a gem. Tall strong plant, it never had any problems. Then I switched her to 12/12 and after about 5 days I saw pistils. She stretched a little bit over the next 2-3 weeks but now I'm coming up on week 4 and nothing. I started 12/12 on June 14 and it's July 11 today. I'm using CFLs, I have 2 of them and also a dayglo plant bulb that I got at a garden shop. My plant grew tons of leaves in the middle and got wicked bushy once I started 12/12, and she's even stretched up about 6 inches, but I haven't seen any buds. More pistils have sprouted at all the nodes and other spots but not like 50 pistils in one spot like I've seen in other pics. Granted this is my first grow but I feel like by 4 weeks I should see some bid, right? I'm gonna add pics when I get home tonight of what it looks like now

Also, not sure if it's important but I fed it once a week ago with miracle grow bloom booster

You need I believe 2700 color temp CFL for budding and 6500 for vegg. This could be your problem.

Hope this helps.

Peace out

Well during the 2nd week there were a few light leaks but I fixed them. Also, my timer broke so I had to turn my lights on and off by hand, so on some days the lights would stay on for 13 hours or the dark period would be 14 hours etc. It was never more than 2 hours over/under the 12 12 cycle tho, and it was just a week that lasted. I have a new timer now so it runs on schedule, but she's a good 2 1/2 feet with a thick stem and she's very bushy around the middle

Any light changes can cause problems from reveg to a hermy plant. I agree you probably need more light, also look into the 2700 color temp light as I suggested earlier (should be on the back of the CFL package).

Peace out.

What's a color temp light? Can I get it at like home depot or walmart? The two CFLs Im using now are different, one looks light blue almost white, the other looks like a regular light bulbs color

look in the aquarium section of your walmart for cfl's designed for aquatic plant growth. they should have the color temp clearly marked on the front of the package.

The blue one should be the cooler color temp. Your local hardware store or WallyWord should have plenty of CFLs to look at. Most should have the color temp on the back of the package.

Good luck.

go to home depot the have bulbs that are day light thats the one for veg 6500 and then the cool white 2700 try to get the 42 watt and if you can do a mix of say 2 6500 or 26 watt and 4 2700 or coll white you'll have the total spectrum I found that it's better to have the whole spectrum you can increase the cool white 2700 if you like but a least have some of the day light because the plant is still growing you can goggle the light spectrum and it'll show you why and the reason it works so well to have lights from both spectrums fyi.Home depot a package of 4 is like 13.00 and buy the 2 pack for about 6.50 4of 2700 42 watts and always look for the lumens each plant to grow good needs about10,000 or more the more lumens the better just add the 6500 for growing.get a surge strip buy the pull in sockets with the screw in for bulbs that way you can put like 5 on each surge strip and get like 16,000 lumens for each strip and still keep your light bill down.

color temp should in no way keep your plant from flowering, im guessing time will fix every thing, you said you where never 2 hours away from 12/12? that could also be it, the NEED 12 hours of darkness, so a week of 11 or 10 hours could have mixxed it up, maybe thats why it bushed up.

How big an effect can something like a minor light leak or slighty prolonged dark/light period have?

I'm pretty sure as long as your plants are in the dark longer than they have light they will be okay...it happens outdoors as well as the days get shorter. I think any light period over 12 hours is what you need to avoid.
