Here's the story, i found a seed in some dispo bud i smoked from the same place for months and only found 2 seeds leading me to believe that the chances of the seed would be a female so i grew it. Trying to do this the most cost effective way I purchased Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and have been vegging the plant for 3 months now. So it was doing great with no added nutrients, just using tap water that I left for 24 hours (to evaporate the chlorine) , using 5 100w equivalent daytime cfls, a space heater and a small fan (i have not been PH-ing my water thinking the soil would be a good enough buffer) then , literally overnight almost all of the plant's leaves have what appears to be a phosphorus deficiency.. now i dont have a thermostat in the room but i know that the house has been at 70 F and the room the bud is in is a little bit warmer. So over night the leaves started drying our, getting those dark brown spots, some of leaves on the underside going yellow without spots. So my first thought was maybe its a rooting problem as it happened so fast and not just in one location on the plant, so i took it out of the 5 gal planter it was in to find that the roots were barely even showing and what was showing was white and healthy. So, i didn't have but a little bit of FFOF soil left so I bought some compost and mixed that in desperation (probably needs more perlite). But now im not sure what to do, I didnt have enough soil/compost to fill the new 15-20 gallon planter so the plant is sitting pretty low in it. Does it look like a phosphorus deficiency? What can i do to help it right now? Should I be PHing my water run off or before it goes in or even at all? is the problem maybe from using a seed that could have bad genetics (stressed mother)? Should I take clones and start them in some cocoa which a friend recommends? how do i make the most of this situation??

Okay let me see if I can help you out. I would recommend to get better lights, especially vegging for as long as you have. Your plant will stretch a lot in flower and will need more than some 23w cfl’s. As far as the browning your seeing it looks to be a ph issue also 3 months in with no nutes I bet she’s hungry. Just get a ph meter and some ph up and down. Correct the ph before you water, then check your runoff. Also get a humidity and temp reader and keep a good environment. It also looks a little overwatered so make sure not to drown it. Don’t worry it’s not the end, cannabis is a very strong plant. Just get some lights, get some nutes (go very light on dosing at first) and keep your ph in check. Good luck and happy growing!
