My plant just stopped growing! (pics)

okay so i got two plants about 1 month old growing under the sun. one pot contains miracle grow soil... the other is a generic potting mix i found in my garage, well i that one just stopped growing and has been the same size for almost a week, its still standing, light green, unlike the other plant is dark green... whats wrong here?

what's wrong is you have a shitty soil mix. Are you trying to grow in wood chips? I don't even see any soil in there! Your roots can't take and your plant is dying as a result. I mean look at your 2 soil mixes and think for a second it's just common sense. You should transplant to a better mix.

That one needs nitrogen soooo bad, the problem maybe that the soil is not loose enough and the roots are not expanding, but those woodchips leach nitrogen from the top layer of soil. I would try to transplant it to a pot with a good, loose potting soil mix, make sure it has good drainage, and get some nitrogen, i suggest fish emulsion because you can't burn the plant with it. Hope you can save it.

my general rule of thumb is "if you grow in a car you dont go very far"

transplant to better (loose) soil and give them some nutrients

okay i transplated it, and no im not growing in a car!


but another question, my other healthy plant got yellow on da tip, is that because of water were on the leaves or no nitrogen ???
